SpaceX Launch of Inspiration4, the World's First Private Orbital Spaceflight!

I wish for a flawless mission and hope to one day see it become as normal as an Uber ride share. Instead of a space station to see some sort of facility that could be docked with for extended stays. How cool will that be as I am sure it will become an affordable reality in the future

Thanks Astro for the heads up I almost forgot about this historical launch and wanted to watch it.

To the haters are you for real. If all humans had your attitudes we as a human race would never have been to the moon or mars. We would be living in bunkers under ground with no tech and nothing to dream about.

Elon Musk came to the USA from South Africa as a penniless student. He took advantage of all there was on offer timed his ideas with the explosion of internet tech and is a self made billionare and the funny thing is he trully does not care about the money. He just wants to get to mars and the money he made has been invested in his to main babies Tesla and SpaceX.

Not if it launches tonight, unfortunately. If they delay to tomorrow then possibly.

Earth is flat, folks.

Because it takes time to get ready for launch. They need to do checks to make sure the suits are hooked in properly, make sure the emergency escape system is ready, and then they arm that before they start fueling the rocket. If something goes wrong during fueling the dragon capsule can abort straight off the rocket.

Something flying in the sky is NOT evidence that something is orbiting around a giant sphere due to 'gravity'.

I am so excited about this! My cousin's wife is a good friend of Hayley Arceneaux's family and they are there with VIP tickets for the launch.

Hayley will be the youngest American ever in space at age 29, also the first to wear a prosthesis in space. She is a childhood cancer survivor and now works at St. Jude hospital as a physician's assistant.

They are hoping to raise $200 million for St. Jude's Hospital.

What kind of footage should we expect from this?

There's a guy there from spaceexplored using my software to track it tonight, so hopefully we'll get some good footage from that.

Everything went great until it hit the wall of water, made like a very expensive motorboat in the sky and then disintegrated. What if we launch a sub? Sure okay, but it will have to be heavy due to the water pressure. Oh. Hmmmm.

How about we build a tower to reach up there? That’s been done before? Oh. Well how did turn out?

Hope the mission is successful.

... And St. Jude is my favorite charity so I hope the fundraiser is successful as well... Kids with cancer is one of the most heartbreaking things in the world.
