Teton County coroner clarifies comments in Gabby Petito case after autopsy announcement



On Your Side also asked Dr. Blue to elaborate on comments that appeared to identify a suspect in Petito’s death.

“Unfortunately this is only one of many deaths around the country of people who are involved in domestic violence,” said Dr. Blue during a zoom news conference with reporters Tuesday.

“Did you determine that her cause of death was the result of domestic violence or was that just, you know, a comment that you made in the moment?” asked Saeidi.

After the news conference, some assumed Dr. Blue was confirming that Laundrie was involved in Petito’s death.

“That was a comment I made in the moment,” he said.

Right now, the FBI and federal prosecutors are not releasing any more information.

Reminder that Roberta Laundrie made reservations for 2 people @ Fort DeSoto Campground day after Brian Flew back to Utah.

Then Canceled them day before Brian arrived back to Florida in Gabby's Van.

Then made them again for 3 people for Sept. 6 - 8.

I will be hugely surprised if he is there. I think he is long gone from the area and from Florida...if he is smart, he has done what he can to change his appearance and just gone somewhere random, like Omaha or Boise, or Sioux City...

This is a weird case...Twists and turns abound...almost nothing would surprise me anymore.

At first it sounds like they found one human remains.

All signs point to someone with anger management issues, a high conflict relationship, and a taking out of anger on a domestic partner.

The only sensible reason why LE and/or special dogs would be out at the swamp 7 days a week is because Brian or his parents could have tried to dispose of "evidence." Perhaps something to clean the van after Gabby was strangled? Or whatever Brian was wearing that day?
