I think Walmart loves it because they now don't have to worry about merchandise walking out the door with the online orders. They REALLY are trying to push people to order online. It's really becoming a hassle to shop in person, not just Walmart. I only hate it because you have to spend $35 minimum, even with the Plus membership.

No, but for basic stuff their prices are generally 30-40% less now than other stores with this year's inflation. I'm poor and have to spend wisely.

MY ANALYSIS: There seems to be many indicators that all kinds of goods are becoming more scarce for many different reasons. I believe it is part of the Agenda 2030 Plan.

The drought in the Western U.S. is bad, and that means a lower agriculture yield. Many ranchers cannot afford cattle feed for this winter, and will send many cattle to the butcher this fall. Meat might go down in price over the winter briefly due to the increase of available meat, but by spring meat might get very expensive. Consider getting canned meat or jerky now, so you might have beef in the future.

Shipping expenses from China have increased DRAMATICALLY. Is this by design?

U.S. oil production and pipelines has been slowed by Biden, hurting production and industry of all types.

Why is lumber so expensive suddenly, the trees grow in the U.S. Maybe not enough workers working? Transportation issues? Any Biden Public Policy on forestry?

These are just a few signs of the Agenda 2030 Plan in motion. Many more issues and tyranny coming soon.

I work for a fairly large, well known beverage brand in the US. We had to cancel our promotions for October due to a glass shortage to make our bottles. Our competitors are in the same boat and will lose millions.

The way I hear it, Mr. McMullen is using supply chain issues (and he's referring to COSTS, rather than supply failure) as a partial explanation for Kroger's quarterly earnings being a bit short of what was expected.

I heard nothing about a looming supply chain crisis.

Moreover . . . it's not something they'd announce, no matter how honest they want to be. That would simply incite panic buying/hoarding, which wouldn't serve anyone's purposes well.

We're going to have items that are occasionally unavailable, no question. There'll be longer-term supply shortfalls, too, and that'll have an ugly impact on prices. But that's how scarcity is rationed in a free market.

I just read something about a glass shortage but can't remember where.

Anyone who is not stocked up to be self-sufficient for a minimum of six months by this point has their head in the sand. The warning signs have been here for over a year now.

They do mandate masks and the vaccine mandate is coming very very soon.

This is all being orchestrated, I'm a former truck driver and my old company, Knight Refrigerated out of Phoenix, AZ, would not hire me back. I have a clean record and have worked for them in the past on several occasions.

couple weeks ago I was at Kroger for a specific item, a very plain full-fat yogurt of a non-fancy brand.

they did not have it, second try for me.

guy says: oh we have it, but we don't have enough people to stock the shelves.

That could be a reason for their dilemma with supply chain. Meaning that is how they are getting attacked for not going along with the agenda.

LOL wow, I should have read more of the thread before the comment just above.

So a story about supply chain issues could cause some to dump the stock just in time for it to be cheaper for the buyback. Pretty sure Martha Stewart went to jail for less.
