The best quote I read today was:

"If this were a real pandemic, we would not be firing hospital staff."

Similarly, we would not be firing anyone in the trucking or food businesses if this were a real pandemic.

All the panic at the grocery store, wiped out toilet paper and rationing.

I'm glad I ordered more TP yesterday from Sam's Club, even though I didn't need it. Just had a strange feeling all this shit was going to start again.

Kroger is parent corp for QFC and Fred Meyer…two major grocers in the Puget Sound.

I appreciate the heads up, OP.

If Safeway comes out with the same news I will become very concerned.

As far as domestic goods go, the Dept of Agriculture have been paying farmers to destroy their crops, or face penalties. I've heard from a cattle rancher that the USDA inspector won't cooperate to inspect cattle for mad cow prior to slaughter, due to COVID. As far as imports go, ships are backed up at the ports on the West Coast; Zerohedge posted a chart about it. I would assume the Feds here again are inserting wedges into the gears.

Yep.

They have their marching orders coming down from high above.

Don't plant crops.

Dump most dammed-up rainwater into the ocean.

Starve the masses.

By any means necessary.

Shortages are the New Normal.

US Starvation is the New Normal.

'Vaccine/mRNA-Refusenik'-Discrimination is the New Normal...

I was just shocked that a major food retailer came out and said it.
 Quoting: First Born Son

Last week I was the grocery store, Meijer (also called Fred Meijer). They are big, in 11 states, but nowhere near Kroger which is national or Wally World which is international. I asked a guy stocking shelves if there were empty spaces because of lack of workers or if it was because I was there at night. he told me they were't getting all of their usual stock. He had a theory that because a lot of products are Proctor & Gamble and P&G HQ is in Cincinnati and so is Kroger, that Kroger was getting preference from P&G over smaller chains like Meijer. What you're reporting blows his theory out the window and makes it more disturbing.

While I have nothing to back this up, I kind of think that online orders w/curbside pick up and to your door delivery - Walmart and Amazon - may be putting pressure on in store inventory. The delivery thing is very "Great Reset" and was kicked into high gear with the commencement of the scamdemic. Even if that's the case, though, it should still be the same amount of product for the same amount customers, right?

There was also an article in the Daily Mail, a couple of days ago, saying the same thing about supermarkets in the UK. That they mainly blamed on Brexit with EU workers returning home and causing a truck driver shortage.

This supply chain shit, because it's so complex, needs to analyzed by independent and trustworthy experts to look for what's REALLY behind this. With so many moving parts, it doesn't take much for certain Satanic actors to bring the whole thing down.
In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined:

With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world,
And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor.
Then will I wander godlike and victorious through the ruins of the world
And, giving my words an active force, I will feel equal to the Creator.

Fred Meyer and

Fred Meijer are two different people/companies.

As a grocery supplier I wont say Meijer is perfect.

But they are a much better operation than kroger and wal mart

A couple months ago, the only way I was finally able to buy chicken wings was to order it off Walmart's website and then drive to the store for free pickup a few hours later. There would never be any on the shelves, it seemed like they were just reserved for online orders. Same thing with certain condiment sauces, shows in stock on their site...but empty shelves.

We're "lucky" to have two Walmart's within 3 miles of each other in a non-ghetto area. I can't tell you how often our household has to finish shopping at the other store this past few months because so much is missing from the shelves.

Wow, so there's some proof of my suspicion and what a bunch of bullshit it is. I like to shop in person, for various reasons, and do not want to buy everything online, "Great Reset" style. What this online shopping will lead to is the closing of brick and mortar stores and further consolidation by the huge corporations like Amazon and Wally World. Once they control the market, they control the prices and terms and, if you don't like them, there won't be any local grocers left.
