Mine are doctors lawyers CPAs but the worst is a person who started a major fortune 500 home improvement company and an NFL football team owner who got a huge sum for a community center they started. It has swimming pools, tennis courts daycare that kind of community center.

At least 11 members of Congress/Senate recieved from the first PPP millions for family and friends owned businesses --millions!! You can be sure a lot was funneled right back to thier own pockets too!

Look at the SBA website. People are in the process of applying for forgiveness and I know many who have already applied and received 100% forgiveness.

And to boot, it is not taxable income to them nor do they have to reduce expenses by the amount of PPP.

Well I looked up and found the company I work for. I won't name the state or name, but it's construction related. We ha a great year last year, in fact I am a foreman and received the best bonus ever so far in over 20 years with them.

They got 1.5 million.

Not for nothing, but my company is on there, and last year were some rough times. Even though we're "essential", the customer count was a lot lower. We all got some kind of hazard pay bonus...forgot what it was called on the paycheck... and that really helped though the lean times.

It explains it all. PPP loans you do via your bank or microlender but are sba loans that are forgivable and nontaxable. Totally free $. God bless America.

My wife and I started a small from home side gig last year that is struggling, she is going to apply for a EIDL loan now. We have no employees but have invested 35k in an Amazon store that is still trying to find it's legs, I'll take a low interest loan that can have a 30 year term in a heartbeat to get this thing going.

This is a complete mischaracterization of how this loan works. U have to show/prove what ur payroll is via tax return or other official documents. Granted some got it that didn’t really need it, but all’s fair in love and business
