Anonymous Coward User ID: 76984449 United States 01/28/2020 08:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just read this Quoting: Houdini6565 H2 blockers have been showed to carry a lower risk for gastrointestinal infection compared to PPIs. However, when both PPIs and H2 blockers are used together, the further reduction of gastric acid may allow for bacteria to multiply in the digestive system and the risk of infection may be increased. Maybe use H1 in the morning. The PPIs in the afternoon. And the H1 benedryl in the evening since it makes people drowsy. It will keep fluid from building up in the lungs. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76984449 United States 01/28/2020 08:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | DO NOT...DO NOT take them together the PPI will block the benadryl take your PPI and then about 2 hrs later take your Benadryl Quoting: Serepta Ann thank you reading up on PPI's (I have weak kidneys) it says best time to take them is in the morning before breakfast. So, my plan: PPI in the morning and a benedryl at night. does this sound good? Then take the H2 in the afternoon. |

Clinical trials show SMABU as effective as TAMIFLU which we all KNOW our medical systems / hospitals etc will run out within hours of a local outbreak!! IT all comes down to slowing the viral replication until your body's immune system can identify the new virus and start producing antigen specific antibodies [link to articles.mercola.com (secure)] |

Honestly this is the worst advice yet given. Theres more chance of people dying following this advice OP. There was a 16% increase in hospitalization for pneumonia in the population receiving PPIs. Anonymous Coward User ID: 23681642 United States 01/28/2020 08:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So interesting to run into this thread. I have an unknown condition that causes idiopathic anaphylaxis. I have been taking H1 and H2 daily for over a year, along with cromolyn sodium to stabilize mast cells. Many people with severe allergies double or even triple doses of antihistamines daily, safely. I had what I thought was a cold that turned into a lung infection. The infectious process cause a flare up of hives on my hands and feet and eventually triggered a systemic allergic reaction. I had to use my epinephrine injector, call 911, and go to the ER. I needed oxygen and am finishing up a two week round of prednisone and daily nebulizer treatments to deal with the illness and suppress the allergies. ER prescribed PEPCID! I’m still sick, I can’t believe it! Very good information here. |
