I don’t really disagree with anything you’ve said here. To be completely honest, I believe that most ‘approved’ politicians (not all, but most), be they Democrat or Republican, do not have our best interests at heart.

Because they can make so much money by playing the political game, I believe that these positions attract true Machiavellian sociopaths, in the literal definition of the words. I believe most any of them would gleefully set off a nuclear holocaust and take their families to designated safe spaces, leaving the likes of us to the whimsy of fate.

As a true conservative, I am looking at the situation in which we now find ourselves, and am genuinely scared by both sides: Republican & Democrat.

I’m concerned for the future of my family as I now see both sides marching us towards an inevitable hellscape of tyrannical Orwellian socialist/communist government.

People are simply too stupid to stop this from becoming an inevitability. Look at your average unhinged liberal (I don’t think you are one). The Far Left may want that to happen but I personally dont think the rest of the Democratic party want to go full Stalin. On the other hand I do think a majority of the Right would welcome a trump dictatorship which would be fascist in nature.

All in all we have extremists on both sides and everything that happens nowadays is tit for tat. If we dont find somehow to come together and compromise America will just be a shadow of its former self. Sad thing is the only way I see America coming together is either a horrible disaster or a war. Both will cost countless American lives.
