Back on May 14th of this year, Republican political operative Peter W. Smith confessed to the Wall Street Journal that he had attempted to collude with the Donald Trump campaign and Russia to rig the election in Trump’s favor. He then died ten days later, and the story was published after his death. After weeks of attempting to find his official cause of death, it’s surfaced: suicide. And based on the note he supposedly left behind, it appears to have been suspicious in nature.

The official government report on Peter W. Smith’s death has finally become public record, and the Chicago Tribune is confirming that it’s officially been classified as a suicide. The eighty-one year old Smith is said to have taken his own life in an Illinois hotel room and left behind a note in which he insisted that there was no “foul play” involved. The note may have insisted too thoroughly.

Smith’s supposed suicide note said that there was “NO FOUL PLAY WHATSOEVER” in all caps, instead listing his failing health and an expiring life insurance policy as his reasons. But this stands out as suspicious. Most (not all) life insurance policies are voided in the case of suicide, and there is also the question of why someone his age would have an expiring life insurance policy.

There is obviously more to this story, and someone wanted him silenced. Smith was trying to get Hillary's emails for the GOP to use as dirt and he suddenly became a huge liability to the Trump campaign when that became known when he confessed to the WSJ. He died ten days later, well before any special prosecutor, grand jury, or Congressional committee could subpoena him, get him sworn in and testify.

BTW, the Journal also reported it had emails written by Smith showing his team considered retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, then a top adviser to Republican Donald Trump's campaign, as an ally.

I think most people know that policies don't pay off when the insured commits suicide.

In the interview with the Journal, Mr. Smith said he and his colleagues found five groups of hackers who claimed to possess Mrs. Clinton’s deleted emails, including two groups he determined were Russians.

“We knew the people who had these were probably around the Russian government,” Mr. Smith said.

That's speculation on his part and more importantly, you missed the part where he said they were independent of the Campaign. They took this upon themselves. They were not hired by the Trump campaign. What is it that you don't understand about that fact that you are leaving out of your delusion?

He is described as a wealthy business man in the article. If he was wealthy, why not just pay the bill for the life insurance to continue instead of letting it expire?

WSJ didn't allege that Smith was in contact with Flynn.

“I’m talking to Michael Flynn about this,” Smith himself said.

The Trump campaign did not deny the connection, telling the WSJ that “if Mr. Flynn coordinated with him in any way, it would have been in his capacity as a private individual.”

So, he was working with Flynn, as confirmed by the Trump campaign.

Well, I doubt hitlery goons were involved in this one. Sounds like the guy was terminal and he loved his family enough to provide for them in his demise.

I seem to remember this story and they tried to tie him to Flynn, but I doubt that one flies. Even if Flynn had some incidental contact with them, it doesn't sound like anyone found the missing emails.

I'm certain those missing emails are what proves what the Clintoons were doing with the SOS office and the foundation. Without those emails, they likely skate. You don't set up a private server unless you are hiding something.
