Re: The Experience
At the end of every day there is a sense of longing...

Of not having enough time to get things done, to enjoy life, to breathe.

Did you all ever have the joy of experiencing what felt to be an endless summer vacation from school?

Where within that summer vacation time crystallized and held for a bit longer, it seemed endless...

Remember how that felt?

Where 3 months would equate to the fairwell of see you next year...

Perhaps time and this life only feel that way for those who are not bound to time and the slave system.

Hey, it happened to me in my last post. The last line of Ulijah's post that I quoted didn't remain in the quote, and that's not on you.

No worries, eh? hugs

If I knew those answers I would feel that I had a rational starting point to start making heads or tails of what's going on around here lol.
 Quoting: Ulijah

Don't you love a good mystery? I view this life as an unfolding and engrossing book. If I ever have the chance of meeting the creator of this illusion, I will kiss their ass in appreciation.

For some reason, just being able to identify the rules of this existence is enough for me. I don't want to know what happened before I set foot on this planet and I don't want to know what comes next. It is kind of like enjoying the journey instead of constantly fretting over the destination. I am very excited for the destination, but I realize that no matter what I do, it will always be there in the end. And it will probably blow our earthly minds.

I do enjoy a good mystery...

However...

I do find that a few minor details like where it is taking place, what and with whom a good starting point...
 Quoting: Ulijah

I hear you. I try to act like I don't want the answers and even try to convince myself that I don't, but I have peaked underneath the wrapping of the xmas presents a few times in the past. I do remember some regret from those experiences.

Excellent thoughts OP and good questions. My opinion means squat and is probably wrong most of the time but I think the path you are currently traveling is not a bad one. You would know if it was.

Peace.

and thank you for your time.

Really? You don't recognize the wisdom that comes with learning and experiencing life?

Or, maybe I'm just older than you, and that makes a difference?

Ahn, maybe my response is because I so dislike the meme, "The more I learn, the less I know"...it's limiting, and sends a terrible message to the psyche.

Re: The Experience
What can One hold to be True?

All things which are studied are subject to falsehood.

Every word within print can never be held within ones arms as truth...

Everything is subjective and perspective.

Are you a Human Being?

Are you on Earth?

Where did you come from?

For whom can answer these with any certainty?

The overwhelming majority believe in imaginary sky wizards which watch their every move, all things which the burdens of negativity passed upon as the work of the boogie man and his minions...

The desert fairy tales plague the psyche of our generation.

Quick to point to an antichrist or demons, reptilians, aliens...

All Boogie Men...

Have you seen any of these things?

Have you actually experienced anything to which you could swear to with all your true being that gives any credibility to the nonsense?

Everything is programing.

Have you been to space? Could you attest to it being real?

How do we know there are planets? Have you seen one?

How do we even know what we are?

...

I know not what I am...

Or where I came from...

I want to believe their is more of that out there.

I am letting everything I have ever learned go...

All preconceived notions and programming...

Everything I thought to be reality...

...

 Quoting: Ulijah

Oh, you and i aren't so different
and you, drawn to the fire
and aren't we so forgetful?
Why am i in this place?
Why are you there on the ceiling,
pushing the air through space?

white moth you stole the show
white moth you're all i know
this feels like it's home
now
White moth you're all i know

God wants who he wants? So he just created some of us to throw away for the good of his grand story?

 Quoting: Ulijah

God's sovereignty is a beautiful and terrible thing to ponder.

Consider this...God is life and all life comes from him. It is God and God alone that gives life and takes it away. How is it that he does wrong if he creates something to be destroyed? He ultimately determines worth and value...those that he invests worth into will see that the only difference between themselves and those that he does not invest worth into is God himself.

Most people have an elevated sense of the worth of humans and a completely inadequate sense of the worth of God.

All of the beliefs which you just cited are assumptions which you chose to live by with no credible evidence of your view being a likely reality.

The levels to which one must delude themselves to believe there is a Sky wizard watching over their every move.

Never mind that the actions, supposed words, and explanations for this imaginary gods doings would be viewed as that of a mad man by any typical standard investigation of the fleeing evidence.

The Jew god, by his own admission , is jealous, vengeful, racist, and on whims, decides to tell the maniacs who follow him to kill and slaughter in his name...

Add to that the story of his super hero son!

Who with zero proof and evidence has people sitting on their hands waiting for him to return for over 2000 years while the world is raped and pillaged by the very people you claim to stand against and call of Satan your enemy...

If you guys really believed in the Jew god and Jesus's like so many claim then they would have a sense of urgency for the supposed kingdom of god is near and Jesus is coming back right?

It's been over a 2000 year wait but... anytime now right?

How can so many intelligent people not see this for what it is?

I'm with you friend.

I once viewed thing from a Christian perspective as well until I allowed myself to ask every question of what I thought be true.

The Jew god, once again from his admission, only wanted to let a certain group of people into his reward theme park called heaven.

That's until His super hero son arrived and opened admission to everyone who could throw logic and critical thinking out the window.

What of all those people the Jew god supposedly created to just throw away? The ones who never got a chance to go to Heaven because the Jew god only wanted his people in his heaven at one point?

You ever think of them?

But that whole scenario is cool because you guys are all saved from the eternity of torment that awaits those who never had a choice?

Imagine if you will that im your father...

You've never met me, never knew I existed and I've never spoke to you.

While you are upon your deathbed I finally stand before you.

I begin to tell you how you failed to live up to my standards and rules.

I then explain how I had all these rewards awaiting you if you would have only followed the rules I created for you, but never told you of.

By any logical line of thinking you would view me as a failure of a Father who was never there.

Also, a hypocrite for holding you to rules and standards I never instructed you of.

But the Jew god, with zero proof or evidence outside of a book written by the very people claimed to be more special than you...

That's what you guys believe?

It's like one of those South Park episodes on Scientology yet you guys refuse to see it because you are in the cult.

I'll keep it short with bullet points:
Heaven is not the reward, God is the reward. Anyone who is interested in Heaven but not God is hoping for something that doesn't exist.
Jesus doesn't allow anyone...only those his Father gives him.
I should be one of the ones destroyed. I completely deserve destruction. There is nothing I will do in my whole life that will put God in my debt. It is only be his grace...his mercy that I am chosen to be receive eternal life instead of eternal death.
Eternal conscious torment is a lie...it is not true...and it is completely out of alignment with the character of God and scripture does not support that view.

Jesus was an actual person that performed miracles in the Roman province of Judea.
He was executed by crucifixion by the Romans.
He rose from the dead and appeared to his disciples.
The disciples created trustworthy accounts of his life and were filled with the Holy Spirit to share his gospel.
The accuracy and power of their accounts stood up against persecution that would have destroyed a false account.
Jesus is God who lived as man and laid down his life as a sacrifice for me. He took my sin...and gave me his righteousness. I'll never be able to repay him for what he did but I will spend my life loving and cherishing him as my greatest treasure.

This is the gospel of Jesus Christ...you have heard this before yes?

Re: The Experience
...

God of love right lol?

Your understanding of the truth is incorrect.

If you are going to hate God....reject God...reject the truth about him and not some strawman version that isn't true. As for me...I'm praying for you. It is God who bring this change about in people...I hope that he will call you as his own.
 Quoting: B@Z

How can I hate what I do not believe exists?

It's not that I doubt that there is a creator...

I'm just sure it's not the vengeful Jew god of the Bible...

The issue I raised earlier in the thread is that people believe in these gods or the Jew god without any proof.

What proof do you have that the Jew god is real and your creator other than the programming you tell yourself?
 Quoting: Ulijah

 Quoting: B@Z

I've heard the story...

Once again you are avoiding the basis of our discourse...

There is zero evidence which proves that Jesus isn't just a fictional character...

Evidence bolded above.
Historical evidence is a big deal.
For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. - 1 Cor 1:18

Surely you jest?

You find that to be adequate evidence?

The supposed divinely inspired testimony of people whom you have zero proof ever existed...

Morning realization on Love:

The only moments of real clarity and peace which I have experienced have been moments of love.

Not love in the romantic sense, love in the childlike sense, like how you felt about your mother as a child.

True moments of bliss to be found in the most peculiar places...

Perhaps in singing a song, or giving someone a present, that moment you get goose bumps, that feeling of electricity which runs All thru your body...

That feeling that defies words, which seems to slow time...

If those moments are the "it" moments for me in my experience...

Then perhaps the only thing worth doing is providing those moments for others?

Imagine if that was your focus all the time...

Now that is one of the beauties of this existence I love the most :)

I have also experienced that electricity, where it seems like you are tied directly into a huge spiritual stream of pure bliss. But damn, the tears of happiness are hard to hide in those situations. Kind of embarrassing.

Would you really call it love even if it is a love of life?

If you experienced that all of the time, would you become numb to it? Doesn't the chaos and unpleasantness elevate those joyful experiences?

Well if that godlike emotion wasn't preyed upon I think there would be a lot more people that wouldn't have to hide that about themselves or be embarrassed about it.

I apologize for the delay in my response.

It would appear that I was caught in a ban wave, or I hope that's the reason.

I have often wondered that as well.

It would appear that the ability to activate such feelings are fully in our control.

For example...

Let's say you were going into work and have to work the weekend as well.

Upon arriving to work your supervisor tell you take take the day and weekend off paid!

Your entire feeling/being would change although nothing changed externally other than your perspective.

Imagine if we could learn to control that...

It's all perspective...

Everyone of us has our own personal reality and this one that we share.

Which reality is real?
