It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. User ID: 67046660 United States 12/13/2015 03:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was Christmas shopping tonight and was in a store buying a gift. The guy helping me was being friendly and we were talking, then out of the blue he asks me if I want to go salsa dancing with him later tonight. Quoting: Sweet Angel I said "no I don't really like to dance and I have to finish my christmas shopping tonight but thanks anyway," and then I turn to leave the store after paying for my items and he says as I am walking out "Can i get your number so we could do something else sometime." So I said "thanks that's nice, but I have a boyfriend" (I don't have one, but am not looking for one) and then he says, "Well bring him along, no problem, we can all hang out". Now I'm confused maybe he's just being friendly and NOT hitting on me so I had to think fast and I said "Well he doesn't like to go out that much, but thanks again, have a good night." and he was like "you too, have a good night." So was this guy trying to ask me out on a date or was he just being friendly? I rarely get hit on so I was just wondering if that's what this was? Up until the point where he said to bring your boyfriend along, I would have said yes.... He was hitting on you. Given that he mentioned bringing your boyfriend along, I am now inclined to think that he is gay and was just looking for a dance partner. Just my take, though I am not the type to ask a lady out dancing on a first (or any other) date. I am more inclined to suggest something a little more interesting... Lets go sailing.. Lets catch this concert... Lets go throw water balloons at people from the top of such and such a building, clam bake and drinks on the beach, etc... Dancing? Not quite my, or any real man's style. Yoga pants.. Maybe, but it's not like yoga pants are uncommon in the area I was shopping. I'm thinking he asks every woman that comes into the store alone. |

Interesting theory...it's possible. He was from Australia so not sure if they dance more down under. I asked him if he goes dancing a lot and he said he used to teach dancing. So I'm not sure if that means he's gay. I was shopping for a gift for my uncle and he did say that he wouldn't feel comfortable wearing the first thing I picked out because it was too feminine looking to him and helped me pick out something as a guy he would wear. |

Not saying I'd have sex with someone out of pity but I do feel sad. It's on my conscience that I made him feel bad. |
