Quoting: A Believer Thanks that seems to be the general consensus. I feel bad now he was really nice and I don't like to make anyone feel rejected. A rare woman, indeed. Not saying I'd have sex with someone out of pity but I do feel sad. It's on my conscience that I made him feel bad. You're so full of it. What sane woman is going to let some random strange man start shopping with her or talk to him about what she's buying??? Nice troll job though. |

(OP) User ID: 66021996 United States 12/13/2015 03:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was Christmas shopping tonight and was in a store buying a gift. The guy helping me was being friendly and we were talking, then out of the blue he asks me if I want to go salsa dancing with him later tonight. Quoting: Sweet Angel I said "no I don't really like to dance and I have to finish my christmas shopping tonight but thanks anyway," and then I turn to leave the store after paying for my items and he says as I am walking out "Can i get your number so we could do something else sometime." So I said "thanks that's nice, but I have a boyfriend" (I don't have one, but am not looking for one) and then he says, "Well bring him along, no problem, we can all hang out". Now I'm confused maybe he's just being friendly and NOT hitting on me so I had to think fast and I said "Well he doesn't like to go out that much, but thanks again, have a good night." and he was like "you too, have a good night." So was this guy trying to ask me out on a date or was he just being friendly? I rarely get hit on so I was just wondering if that's what this was? Up until the point where he said to bring your boyfriend along, I would have said yes.... He was hitting on you. Given that he mentioned bringing your boyfriend along, I am now inclined to think that he is gay and was just looking for a dance partner. Just my take, though I am not the type to ask a lady out dancing on a first (or any other) date. I am more inclined to suggest something a little more interesting... Lets go sailing.. Lets catch this concert... Lets go throw water balloons at people from the top of such and such a building, clam bake and drinks on the beach, etc... Dancing? Not quite my style. Interesting theory...it's possible. He was from Australia so not sure if they dance more down under. I asked him if he goes dancing a lot and he said he used to teach dancing. So I'm not sure if that means he's gay. I was shopping for a gift for my uncle and he did say that he wouldn't feel comfortable wearing the first thing I picked out because it was too feminine looking to him and helped me pick out something as a guy he would wear. You where paying so much attention and wanted it byt your still playing hard to get.. what is it you really want princess??? No...we were just having a conversation and he was helping me pick out my gift. He asked me where I was from first so I asked him if he was from Australia because he had an accent. There was this guy from a few years ago that I don't know if he was flirting with me or not. All I knew is he was out of my league. So in my mind I'm 95% sure he was just trying to fuck with my head or it was a joke. But who knows, I might've ignored somebody that really liked me. *shrugs* |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71016953 No he's not in my head, I was just curious why he was hitting on me when I looked so crappy. Honestly, all the men were looking at me tonight when I was out shopping, it was kind of creepy. |

It's not that I thought he was out of my league (I mean, come on, he works in retail) but this doesn't happen very often if ever to me. |

He was talking to you for a date. Otherwise he would not be approaching you randomly unless he was really desperate for friends, which is really unusual and probably a red flag. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71022275 Yes, but it's possible because he's not from here. I was thinking that maybe he recently moved to the states and just wants to make new friends. |

Once you realize this and harness its power you will be able to accomplish many great feats. If you are a 7 or lower, he may be a psychopath. If not, he is probably only just a strange, goofy guy. Possibly psychopathic, but likely not. And if not, all sources point to him being a nice catch ;) ;) |
