Quoting: fcpsp1 Absolutely... that cat qualifies as boys best friend. Dog, unfortunately, needs to be put down. Completely unprovoked. Owner needs to be charged with assault... Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

Quoting: ThesonofhendriX I've seen just that....a pitbull mix was attacked by a cat in my neighborhood and the cat leaped on to the dog's head and dug in, it looked like the dog was wearing a cat hat....the cat's claws just became a blur and when the cat hopped off, the dog was blind in both eyes....the eyelids literally shredded... |

Quoting: Too Dark Park The surveillance video shows the boy playing on his bicycle when a dog sneaks up behind him and grabs his leg. The family's cat, named Tara, rushes the attacking dog and chased it away. Video at link: [link to www.theindychannel.com] Cannot dispute what the cat did. Definitely stepped up to play. Fish dinner for the cat tonight? If real is what you can feel, smell, taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain. The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels…upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop! [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9785196 I saw that too. Think she went to get a gun? I think the mom may have been in shock and ran to make sure the dog wasn't coming back...she ended up getting bit as well. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9785196 I saw that too. Think she went to get a gun? She chased after the dog. To protect him. And was injured as well. We call those 'split second' decisions. Had she been holding him and the dog came back, it could been far worse. She made herself the target, leading the dog away from him. HTey'll keep it in a crate for 10 days or so. After that, who knows? Up t the owner. If I owned that dog and saw that tape, there would be no need for quaratine. |

They all have different personalities I had 3 kittens from the same litter and one was special. He thought he was a dog.He hung out with my pitbull and would go into yards and play with other dogs.He wasnt afraid of dogs and was super smart.Cats usually win in a dog fight because they are fiercer and faster than dogs. Not to mention smarter.... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54431900 Gotta be some pit bull in there somewhere. Yeah, you can tell by the shape of it's head, some kind of mix, like with a lab or something like that, and obviously the agression towards smaller beings. Pits have that natural instinct to hunt smaller creatures. “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” |

Quoting: Too Dark Park I agree. As much as I love animals, I think this dog should be put down. There was no provocation on the child's part. It looks like the dog was on the hunt, and found it's prey.Gut feeling tells me this dog will attack again. As for the cat, there is no doubt that he saved the child from further injury or even death. This cat should be eating premium cat food, salmon, or whatever it likes the best, for the rest of it's life. Hero Kitty !!! |
