Matthew and Luke disagree about Jesus's genealogy from him back to David. Also, there are discrepancies among the apostles about Jesus's trial, when the Last Supper occurred, and even his last words on the cross.

If someone had intended to artificially create a new religion, it wouldn't make sense to write four separate books that describe the same thing without agreeing on major details. The Muslims do pretty well with one, after all.

Josephus writes about John as being the rebel that Titus let live. Simon was condemned to die before the Emperor in Rome.

Are you implying Saul//Paul was based on the life of Apollonius? Why wasn't it written as the accurate life history of Apollonius instead of changing it to Paul and changing other details as well? Apollonius lived to a very old age and was not a Christian for example.
