Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. The woman who is not pursued sets up the doctrine that pursuit is offensive to her sex, and wants to make it a felony. No genuinely attractive woman has any such desire. - H.L. Mencken, In Defense Of Women |

Also, there are discrepancies among the apostles about Jesus's trial, when the Last Supper occurred, and even his last words on the cross. If someone had intended to artificially create a new religion, it wouldn't make sense to write four separate books that describe the same thing without agreeing on major details. The Muslims do pretty well with one, after all. |

Josephus knew Greek, Aramaic and Roman. Why? He was an interpreter for Emperor Titus. And Josephus wrote in Greek. |

The thing that matters is it is what has brought us here to now, today, billions believe and billions more affected by it daily. It is the system we know. Its what we choose to do with it, how can we as humans use it to grow, to advance ourselves as a species. Do we wake up to the sow and reap slave system we live in, which is all consuming, systematic annihilation, or do we step out from this nightmarish loop and chart a new unique course for humanity. |

Why didn't he include one complete version in with his Jewish history? Are you implying Saul//Paul was based on the life of Apollonius? Why wasn't it written as the accurate life history of Apollonius instead of changing it to Paul and changing other details as well? Apollonius lived to a very old age and was not a Christian for example. What was Josephus's motive or reason for not sticking to true names and details? |

Apollonius lived to a very old age and was not a Christian for example. What was Josephus's motive or reason for not sticking to true names and details? Jewish writers as well as Greek and Roman orators excelled in teaching philosophy, rationalism and parallelism. Atwill calls it typology. The Chinese called it kanji. The Hebrews called is gematria. The purpose? To tell the wealthy, educated and rational something while telling the poor, lazy and gullible something different. To mock the stupid and make the stupid think they are complemented. Josephus was a rich, educated prat. He was find of playing intellectual jokes. Titus appreciated that. But Josephus in creating a Jewish faith that worshipped Titus as the New Covenant messiah -- that was a master stroke. A stroke and joke that lasted 2000 years until we figured it out. |

You read Atwill's book and watched the National Geographic documentary "Rivals of Jesus." [link to channel.nationalgeographic.com] You believe in that theory - fine. That, however, does not make it correct. Stop acting as if it is and that, in your made-up future, it is proven as fact. Just so you're aware, Atwill is not the only one to have written a book describing an alternate explanation of the Gospels. There are plenty of others, but I won't bother describing them in any detail. Anyone with an internet connection may research the topic in full. Now on to the crux of the matter. You've already claimed on Paranormalis that you're simply role-playing John Titor for the lulz. Fuck off or stop pretending if you actually care anything for the real story behind Titor. You're polluting the internet with your facade and inhibiting others in their quest for answers. Stop acting like what you're predicting here is some information from the future because, by your own admission, it is not. That being said, predict all you wish; but quit pretending you're a John Titor from the future. If you have any decency and wish to maintain predictions, then I respectfully ask that you leave the name John Titor out of it and stop misleading others. |
