elenin not a brown dwarf

My wife's sister attends the university of Arizona. I found out that she was taking astronomy last week, so I started to tell her about elenin she had never heard anything. So I told her everything I could to get her attention. Anyways she has access to all the programs and databases so she found the C/2010 x1 but the size didn't match the brown dwarf size so I told her about the Google sky shot at mercury in infared then she found that and that didn't look like the object her starrynight program so she asked other names of the star so when she found the object that looked like the Google sky shot in undated it was listed as a brown dwarf Eris then she said the object was doing some serious flashing she said she had never seen that before. She said that it is following elenin, so I then brought up the Mayan blue and red cachina stuff and I told her that elenin should be blue and that the dwarf should be red in color and she confirmed. So does anyone have any thing on Eris? I know the planet on Voltron was Aris, this is getting more compelling by the day.
