I use to deliever pizza, anything was nice its called a gratiuty not a tip, that's semantic. I was always happy but I grew up poor, some people only do it out of guilt. To act out of guilt is to be condemened. Not sayin I don't feel guilty from time to time but I always run to God when I do. Try to anyways :P

I give a $2 tip on top of the automatic $1.50 delivery charge. If the order was closer to $30, I would tip $3.

If I see the kid has a crappy car, I usually give him a tip equal to the price of the pizzas.

I'm not cheap, but if the guy's driving a Lexus, he gets advice and not cash.

Never more than $5. usually depends on how long it takes for delivery, if I wait an hour you probably arent getting any tip. I also agree with the poster above, if you are delivering pizza in a BMW then you arent getting any sympathy tip from me

I delivered for 7 years, and though the worse thing I ever did to dickheads was deliver their pie last on my route, I'd say you are probably dead on correct from what I heard over the years. Other things too. Things that weren't spur of the moment. *shivers. I tip 3 now used to tip 5 until the delivery charge was added.

I don't pay the Delivery Person a tip. I pay 5 dollars for the delivery. If his boss doesn't give it to him then he needs to find a new job. I don't feel sorry for him.

I dont think so...firstly this is Stralya and we pay our workers their full wage....secondly if I order any thing from anywhere they are going to give it to me before they are going to find out that I dont tip...so what you're saying is that food would come with spit etc.. before you even purchase it.
Or is it that in Ameritard if you dont give a tip they take back your pizza and disappear around the corner for a bit and then give you your pizza with extra toppings on it

Delivery Charge is for what it takes to support delivery. Insurance rates, for example. If you're going to employ deliverers, your liability skyrockets.
