I haven't yet looked it over, but here's the link: [link to www.pandemicflu.gov] I notice that it also has instructions for Law Enforcement and Correctional Facilities. One of the first sentences of the police checklist: "In the event of pandemic influenza, law enforcement agencies will play a critical role in maintaining the rule of law..." From the Corrections checklist: "Identify one or more representatives from acute care hospitals as committee liaisons that may facilitate hospitalization of seriously ill inmates or facilitate transfer of patients into the correctional facility" Last Edited by Fawkes on 05/02/2009 08:34 PM |

If the schools are doing it for one or two students why wouldn't a place of work. And why didn't the airlines do that the other day with that person from Germany to Boston. No, instead they continued on after dropping the infested person off in Boston. Something is wrong here. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 643584 United States 05/02/2009 11:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just throwing this info out there. It is fact, but no proof of anything. Back in 2005, government agencies had a task handed down to them to prepare procedures incase of a pandemic. Ridicule all you want, in fact, I believe this current strain is a beta test/psy-op...BUT... There was a prominent member of one of these said agencies who is a high level Mason...(just giving some background for this info, not that this fact in itself is indicative of anything in particular). Who asked me to come look at his computer as he said there was "something" wrong with it and he went to his meeting. I get there and there was a document up on the screen concerning pandemic scenerios on his screen, but I could find no problems with his machine at all. When I called him after his meeting he was interrested if I looked at his machine, not even asking if I found anything wrong with it. I knew him for about 10 years at that point and out of all the techs, he always called me over the years to assist him with his issues. He soon transferred to another agency and I had not had contact with him since then. None of this threw up any red flags then...now it seems significant to the point where I might start to take this flu serious. I really have this gut feeling that it is just another false flag distraction. But I guess we will find out soon enough. A few days ago, I woke up with May 25th as my first waking thought. When that happens, it is usually a significant event, at least to me. :) I don't make predictions, but I will be fully aware when the day comes to be on the look out for something. |

User ID: 658410 United States 05/12/2009 09:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A Level 6 alert means that company officials will be asked by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to undertake a number of efforts to fight any pandemic -- including the appointment of a workplace pandemic coordinator or team. Quoting: BoomerThe coordinator would be responsible for monitoring employees to ensure they follow basic rules of hygiene, such as washing hands, and to make sure that breathing masks are available. And if a worker becomes sick, the pandemic monitor is supposed to ensure they go home, according to Jack Sotallaro, director of education at DRI International Inc. in Conway, Ark. ... In the meantime, he said, companies need to ensure that employees observe basic hygiene rules and wash their hands often. They should also already have an influenza or pandemic officer chosen to monitor the health of employees to determine if someone on-site has been infected. ... Disaster recovery and business continuity planning can be the difference between no disruption in operations and a company going out of business. According to Croy, 29% of U.S. businesses that suffer a major disaster fail within two to four months. [link to www.computerworld.com] Sorry to say that this is necessary. A lot of people don't even wash their hands after going to the bathroom! And they come to work sick! I lived in Continental Europe for a while, which has seen its share of black plagues and scourges. People get angry at you if you come to work sneezing and stare at you if you pull out tissues, etc. If you're not well enough to keep infected body fluid inside your body, you shouldn't be out with others. It's part of the work-til-you-drop mentality of the U.S. that makes Americans so unaware that for the most part they have gross personal habits at work. |
