I notice that rather than stopping, rendering aid, and exchanging insurance information, the truck driver chooses to drive right and take the exit. Did anyone see a license plate on the truck?

The retard in the truck used spacers on his tires, most are not properly installed and even if they are they fail frequently.


Advice: If you see clowns that use spacers on tires to make them stick out more get the fuck away from them, as far as you can behind or ahead.

It looked like he coasted over to the right shoulder. Not much else he could do. Missing that wheel and brake rotor, if you hit the brakes hard, the pedal is going to squish down to the floor. He'd have some braking in the rear, but it is not like he could immediately stop.

The most amazing part is that the tire found it's way back to be about where it should have been before it's misadventure.

I thought that to at first, but then I notice his brake lights go out as he took the exit instead of the side of the road. If this was a southern state, there is a good chance that it was an unlicensed driver.

I bought new tires and this actually happened to me before!! Driving down the road and the tire flew off the back end of the car and we hit the ground and the tire went flying down the road and out into a field!!! Scared the loving crap out of me and my dad while I was driving!!!

The accident was caused by Joe Cool the pickup driver that mounted extra large, extra wide tires on his pickup. They stuck out at least 5 or 6 inches from the side of the truck. Either the lug nuts failed (a real possibility because of the non-standard tires) and/or there might have been a blow-out. Whatever, I would be suing his ass for every penny that he had or was ever going to make for creating an unsafe vehicle.

Car that lost the tire was most likely using wheel extenders to look cool. They are a wreck waiting to happen. Either that or some idiot not heeding the bad bearings in front trans-axel.

The driver likely had no time to see what happened at all and was just launched into the air. I hope everyone in the car is OK and that he carried spare underwear in the glove compartment...cuz first you say it and then you do it. Wow!

Thanks for the tip. I hadn't thought of that, but I just instinctively don't like other cars near me on the Fwy anyway. You're right. It increases the torque on the axle with those on. Torque = distance from wheel to axle support bracket times weight of car divided by 4.
