Just goes to show you. Some accidents are really impossible to avoid. Nothing that driver could do with a tire like that being shot, at point blank range, right in front of them!

It would have been the guy taking the video...but he had moved out of the left lane to let the black car behind him pass, then he moved back into the left lane. Otherwise, he would have been the one to take that tire.

No kidding, if I remember correctly, they had a medical emergency that led to this clearly odd-ball lane changing.

Some say that tire is still following that guy around, pummelling him endlessly.

I can't believe we don't see a whole lot MORE accidents!! There's a lot of CRAZY drivers out there!

Once while I was riding with my brother in his truck that was lifted and had oversized wheels and tires, his spare fell out of the undercarriage mount.

Full sized spare bouncing over cars at 70-75 mph, somehow it missed two cars and bounced off the freeway. We got off the next ramp and tried to go find it with no luck.

hard to find humor in this, but that comment made me laugh.
