Actually, it's the same clothes. Have you not ever looked at a video at night on a camera or one of your own? It will look different. It’s not the same shorts at all. Very light colored shorts as opposed to dark shorts. Yes, that's very normal in infrared sensitive security cameras. Dark clothes will typically appear light in near infrared video. The low reflectivity of the dark dyes in the clothing only applies to visible light we can see, not near infrared light. Do your research. Dark colored shorts do not go light in a night time black and white video. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78261532 Yes, they do if that black and white video is using near infrared (which is typically the case with black and white security cameras these days). Look at the difference between how these shirts look in visible vs black/white infrared camera images: [link to blog.ampedsoftware.com (secure)] Some, but not all, dyes will still absorb into the near infrared part of the spectrum and thus why his hoodie can still look dark on the security camera. Seems fake how everything that "happens" just happens to happen off camera. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84882859 Thank you! You can dismiss one stair to video compression and poor lighting, but there appear to be no stairs and the tarp is closer to the door. The intruder takes a stance that would have put one foot over the steps. What’s with the glass dust? I’ve never seen that while breaking glass. And, how did that fatass fit through the hole? As for the time code, it's unclear to me what time zone the break-in camera is set to, but the body cam time code says "Z" at the end, implying Zulu time. Not 9 pm, more like 2 am local.
