They make a deal with the US for easier takeover of Taiwan as soon as US secured chip production. 2. They weaken their biggest local threat. The situation in Ukraine is more important for the world in a destabilizing sense than Taiwan. That’s why China will make the deal, get what they want and push their closest threat down… which will make them subject to China for 100+ years. It’s over for Russia.
