Fear. Fear of what, you ask?

Fear of failing, fear of not being taken seriously, fear of not being enough, fear of exposing yourself, fear of not getting in return from people what you put out in intent and love, fear of being taken advantage of, fear of being ourselves.

I am sure that there is a genetic component to it. I have two close relatives that have died from lead poisoning. Thinking positively helps (it's kept me around), but it can still be a painful condition.

After this recession, is what happens if fed doesn’t pump and pump and water and war. Heck it may happen anyway.
Depressing stuff, too.

But miracles do happen.

Amen. My life is whole lot better without it. It was causing most of my depression and anxiety which disappeared

Depression is not the same as sadness, Depression is a pit of despair and no hope where you find yourself attached to nothing. Depression is a state of mind that is hard to escape and its a demon that clings to the depths of the soul. It damages your heart and essence making everyday life a burden. What it really is is different for every person but its not something that i wish on any of my greatest enemies. God help those who are suffering from this torment.

The feeling of defeat.

the lack of contentment. Or ignorance of how to find it.

Recession is your neighbor out of work.
Depression is, oh, you know.

That causes it to, agree.

It an be chronic despair or a dull grey feeling that is chronic and boring and mundane seemingly endless , low grade living.

Depending on the personality as to how severe . Not necessarily a darkness forever .

Depression is feeling like you're under water, drowning day after day. You can just barely see the sunlight, try & try to break though the surface but it's sort of like the hallway that keeps getting longer.

There's not enough energy to get out of bed. Simple daily tasks like showering takes more determination than you have some days.

You're tears have all dried up & there is no more.

You dream up different scenarios of committing suicide, which way is best, etc.

It has been 25 years since I've been there, but that is what I remember from my teens & early 20s. Mental illness runs in my family.

I think age, experience & my husband/children is what pulled me out.

It's like having that lead blanket thing at the dentist covering your whole body for days on end

You need electrolytes

your depression has made you really depressed.
you should taken care of it at the onset.

I was watching Rick Springfield performing in '85 recently
and found out he tried suicide at 17 and still suffers from it.
Alcohol opens the crown chakra to whatever wants in.
We've all been there. Peaces all.

It is when you feel deeply and completely worthless. When you are convinced the world would be a better place with you in it.

It was a good laugh for most of us though!
