Anonymous Coward User ID: 82955887 United States 08/09/2022 08:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Long story short I wasted away most of my 20s playing video games and otherwise just being a little recluse baby who had everything given to him by his parents. My mother was the definition of a 'helicopter parent,' super overprotective and never really allowed me much freedom with anything. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76825457 Never had to even have a real job, until recently. And I'm moving out next month. These days when I have off from work, I just feel a disgust in my stomach being in the presence of my mother because I've developed a completely different persona at work that mismatches with what she knows. On a related note, I suddenly feel the need to make the next 3 years of my life ultra-degenerate to make up for the degeneracy I missed out on during my 20s. I only had sex once, I never really partied or went to bars, and my experience with drugs is minimal. I will concede that the Matrix and Normies won out in the end. Yes, they put this into my mind enough to where I am seriously beginning to experience FOMO for not doing what Normies do during their "youth," and even though I'm 33 I get mistaken for 22-27 all the time (never got a guess higher than that), so I think I owe it to myself to be extremely degenerate with drugs, sex and alcohol in the next few years before I tap into whatever other fake-persona someone in their mid-late 30s has, "I found God after wasting my life away with drugs, sex and alcohol." You will come running back to mommy within 4 months or injure yourself for life If you walk down the path of extreme degeneracy. You may even acquire a new Pronoun. |

Sorry, but I guess I'm old now because I don't translate these things very well. Goodbye, halcyon days... There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened. |

You wasted away your twenties on video games, so you can’t do the drugs and alcohol thing, you have to bypass that, you already had your fun. Sex is okay though. Find God after wasting your life away on video games. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 80151524 United States 08/09/2022 11:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | you sound alot like my little bro in most of those things... except, 1) he's not naiive to drug use, i was a major drug addict/drug seller/trafficker, and i always turned him on to whatever was on deck... he's tried pretty much everything (but never did them habitually like i did) (he is a pothead though) 2)our parent isn't exactly a helicopter parent, it was more like... i was the crash dummy, always going to jail/prison, addicted to hard drugs, etc but never got bailed out by the parents.. at least not begrudgingly.. My brother never got caught with anything, and is considered the baby (he's the youngest of 3).... he was arrested once at a time i got the house raided, got arrested for my drugs.. he was bailed out immediately and a lawyer hired, he got off with only a couple days in jail waiting for the lawyer to do his thing....i went to prison (no lawyer for me) .... i dont hold a resentment about any of it, i deserved what i got for what i did. ....i do feel bad that i kind of ruined the first part of his adult life... he was just like you until recently (he got his first real adult job) (after i moved out and the free drug supply ran out) |
