Brisket, pulled pork, fried okra, and cole slaw. That would be my order. And it almost be worth $18 if it was outstanding.

Was it at a Bodacious? At ours (NE Texas) we pay about the same for the same order. We rarely eat out, but recently I had to while my husband was in the hospital. I went to Chipotle for the first time in two years. I ordered tacos (comes with three) and a drink...I about fell over when it rang up to $16!!!

5 guys burgers used to be good. Now they suck and are way to pricey

do you have any idea how long it takes to make good real bbq fresh and not just reheating in an oven?

you got to get up and start at 6am not including prep/equipment time

and if your lucky its ready around noon or so.. thats if nothing goes wrong

coleslaw/potato salad you can make the night before,store brand rolls are fine, most people get lazy with the baked beans but you can always touch that up when reheating..

and on top of all that you still have to try and make some sort of a profit.. the beer in between wont pay for itself esp any random help whos just there for the job

not impossible. you can make miracles with costco ribs even store brand if you put the time in and know what your doing

Just got a two meat plate with two sides and a drink on Saturday for 12 bucks at an Amish pop up BBQ in SE Pa. Shit was good too. They do this a lot around my neck of the woods.

Our local BBQ place is great, but the prices are ridiculous.
