Quoting: The_Meridian Turns out Paul wasn't a tyrant, or bossy, just thrust into power by everyone else's attrition. It's a shame that a few times he gently suggested George's guitar skills were not up to snuff and he should back off, but in a way George kind of sat there and begged for it. It is clear from the Doc that George had deeper things on his mind than the silly kind of pap that Paul was cranking out. John might've been on Heroin at this time, the doc doesn't make it clear, but he was certainly functional yet very, very passive. He seems as if he felt dwarfed by Paul's musical genius and was happy riding side-car and taking 1/2 credit. Not in a greedy way, just an empty tank who happened to have a pretty sweet deal. Ringo...who did you murder??? Why is Ringo so fucking sad? His wife too, she comes in and is a Depressive princess. Ringo is all about his upcoming movie roll and he can always crank out a working beat on command, no worries, except whomever he murdered haunting him. Yoko: she doesn't seem to have bothered anyone and was respectful and probably kept John intact. I can see how she was kind of cute and they seemed like real love between them. Linda: A Nikon shooter, so thumbs up from me. Clearly Paul was the Beatles at this time, and his only fault was being super creative and versatile...filled with rich musical ideas that were overwheming to John and not interesting to George. Can't wait to see how it all comes together. One of the most overrated bands of all time. Right up there with Led Zeppelin. The world you know is just a sugar-coated topping; there is another world below it- the REAL world, and if you want to survive it, you'd better learn to pull the trigger!!! -BLADE |

Can't wait to see how it all comes together. Not a bad assumption and read on the video. Yes at that moment Paul did have some meaty songs and John was a bit temporarily lacking. All George wanted was out of the band so he could release all his tunes and Ringo was a sad drunk that was always overthinking on how someone of his minuscule drum skills could still even be in the biggest band ever. The truth was he kissed all their asses and they truly liked him as a person... |

Furthermore, you'd do well to understand that Black Sabbath had some other singers that you might've heard of: Ronnie James Dio Ian Gillan Glenn Hughes And the not-so-heard-of Tony Martin Brian May and Tony Iommi are very close friends, FWIW, and Brian May has appeared on a Black Sabbath album. Keep calm, and listen to George Michael. Quoting: I thought he did an awesome job with Queen on the Freddie Tribute deal. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living. ~ Life is about choices, you get to make them each and every day of your life. ~ Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.~ Only in America... do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poloi' in Greek meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.~ “When a government is dependent for money upon the bankers, they and not the government leaders control the nation. This is because the hand that gives is above the hand that takes. Anonymous Coward User ID: 81785863 United States 01/14/2022 11:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The new documentary on Harry Nilsson is also very interesting as it relates to this time. He was best friends with Ringo, Ringo was his best man. They partied A LOT and did a lot of coke. As did John and him. Cocaine is a horrible crash and withdrawal which would explain Ringo’s 50 yard empty stare. Plus he was feeling down that he wasn’t able to contribute to the song writing. So that’s some of what was going on. I think the guy who mentioned John being on heroin and/or weed is also likely as he is passive and looks a little sucked out. And yeah the more I look into it it does seam Paul was replaced. The real question is; did they really write all those early songs or were they helped by intelligence. Nevertheless, very interesting and I did love their songs growing up in the 90s and had the Bestles One album as well as the White album when I was in like 5th grade. |
