Who walks their cat?

I’d be curious to hear about some good halters and stuff. :)

Dont need one,cats will follow you.you need pointed boots to kick the dogs with that chase your cats.

Did have one for a time.

Cat used to come for walks with the dogs (Green belt out back) and gf was worried about roads. Honestly was more trouble then it was worth...cat was smarter then me and the dogs combined.

Can't recommend a brand, just the training portion if you're interested

I think you're mixing up who is the master and who is the pet in the cat-human relationship. You don't walk a cat. The cat walks you.

I'd literally pay money to see someone attempt that on a cat dressed as he is.

But the thing is sometimes the harness is loose . My cat got free a few times but he was a spoiled indoor car so he kinda just freaked out and didn’t move lol

We have 11 acres , my cats stalk me when they want to.
I can't let them know I know ...or they will start cleaning themselves , like a cat playing dead trick or something ......if I stop looking they stalk again, but if I look too long they quit .

Yeah I have had many cats that stalk when I patrol with the dogs over the years .
They are funny when they do that .

Tried it one time. Cat literally fell over when the harness was put on and refused to walk. Total fail.

they slip out of the harness a lot. cats are liquid, smart, and escape artist masters.

Our cat walks us everyday. Get a halter that has the wide chest strap. The leash that comes with the harness is always to short, we have another kitty leash tied to it. So it's double the length.

Used to walk mine, she’s no longer with us. Started her out young. Took her ages to get used to and comfy with the harness. Started her wearing it in the house then progressed to using it in the garden.

Our cat had a body harness that she would have on for walks outside of the fenced in yard. I always just let her walk where she wanted and shadow her. I miss her.

Half the battle is having a smart cat. Dumb cats won't be walkable with a leash.

My cat could shimmy out of his harness, so I never took him outside with it.

He has enjoyed some outings in a specially designed backpack, however!

It has a bubble-shaped window and air vents.

Best avoided in hot weather!

I don't think it's natural to walk a cat on a leash...it's like putting a leash on a human...not natural...and at the same time it's probably not natural to put a leash on a dog...but we do. So I guess if the cat does not care and is naturally inclined to do such a thing then walk away. But if you have to force the cat all the time to do this...then not natural and should not be forced. I myself would never try to do so...
