Who walks their cat?

To get him/her to follow; find an empty jogging track at your local high school. Take your cat to the track and run away from it...it will follow you...usually. harnesses work but like someone said use a double length leash. I've found small dog harnesses work best nothing to soft or it will escape.

I've found a catio build is much better to get your cat the best outdoor life tho and be protected. I used old gazebo panels against a 6 foot privacy fence to frame mine. 2" x 2" hardware cloth wired it all in.

Nice catio...not mine tho mine is nice also.

Most of my cats will walk with me for a while without a leash but there's a point, maybe 100-200ft away from the house that they just stop and refuse to go any further.

I don't know that leashing them would change that... I think they have a radius of comfort around the food bowl or something.

Instead of walking a cat, build a catio. The larger the better.

Ha! It actually feels like the advertised cat carrier above a bit of torture for the human. Cat walking is soooo boooorrring. I always carry a strong drink and a phone with me.

My cat would kill me if I even attempted it. Probably wouldn't talk to me for weeks.

Our cats were awesome outdoor kitties but a coyote took one of them right in front of us and a neighbor shot the other. Now we have indoor cats that we walk on a leash. I would love love to have outdoor cats again!

YUp. Had one jump in the air and do a few flips and by the time she landed was out of it.

Yes I do. They don't want to go anywhere lol but it's dead cute
