I wish anyone cared.

My organization (primary healthcare "community health center" -for at least a couple more weeks), just said in a company wide meeting yesterday that the mandate is coming, masks are staying and that the mandate is for the vaccine and has nothing to do with immunity. Supposedly somewhere around ~60% of the staff have taken one. Mostly Moderna I believe.

I "anonymously"(been there 10 years and only about 250 staff - they know who did it) asked if we were a Healthcare organization or a cult. The CEO basically said I should look for work elsewhere.

Which I knew/know of course. I like my paycheck though and I'm working mostly Office Space level hours at the moment, so I'm riding this right to the end. I'll submit an exemption request under the notion that a religion is a deeply held belief and as such my belief that no one should be forced medical intervention to be an employee or for services is a life long view.

They'll probably deny it. In which case well... I guess I'm cashing out that 401k (403b in my case I think) early.

The reason they will not address natural immunity is because those who have tested positive will have to show antibody test to keep from getting vax and they don't want a large segment to show they were false positives in the first place.

I didn't know the term "Flat Earthers" was being thrown
around for folks with SARS/COV2 immunity (from a naturally
occurring illness they'd successfully recovered from...)
for NOT getting the jab. There was information early on
that taking the VAX AFTER GETTING SARS/COV2 was a really
bad thing and could endanger your health.

If they keep changing the parameters on which we base
our decisions I don't see how they have the arrogance to
find fault with anyone on their choices after getting the bug.

It's all so insane...and it doesn't get any better.

I mean, I just heard some folks on Fox fluffing some pubs who are being credited with blocking progressives or something. You're not wrong about your sentiment. It's frustrating and important to see the big picture that all the stuff Rand talks about on record should probably be on record. I spent the majority of my young adult 16+, and adult 21-40 life in the medical profession, I wasn't an MD, or even a PhD, but I WAS EXPERIENCED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, and most definitely able to write my own goddamned speeches and was able to speak for myself when I'm fighting for someones fucking life.

He's an MD and more importantly A US SENATOR WHO'S FIGHTING FOR ALL OUR LIVES RIGHT NOW, FUCKING LITERALLY, and he can't use his own words, nor come even close to being able to read the ones written for him in a way that they're believable?
