Enough other major world shaking stuff has happened to genuinely affect our real lives without anything happening at all today.

The Afghanistan pullout and chicom entry is huge on it's own.

Thr various explosions are huge on their own.

Haiti's president being killed is big.

That said, the entire lone of cyber attacks from solar winds until the most recent ones all show a very particular pattern.

There's at least some likelihood that those attacks were all designed to insert things into or get things out of very key systems.

And then there's the "pipeline hack" and the fbi somehow managing to "seize" a massive chunk of the ransom payment which is now considered proceeds of a crime and will very likely never be given back to colonial. it's almost like that was the fbi getting paid out their cut of the proceeds.
