When Will The Rapture Be?

I have been taught in church that there is no pre-tribulation rapture and we will be taken when The Lord comes in great power and glory. But I am glad that The Lord showed me otherwise.

Yes there is a rapture (called by The Lord as the gathering up) and there are Bible verses that shed light on it.


1. The Lord will return first as a thief in the night to steal away his beloved, this is not the same event as the second coming, when He comes in great power and glory. The weeping and gnashing of teeth mentioned in Matthew 24:51 is during the time of the great tribulation AFTER the rapture when believers in Christ will be persecuted and killed for their belief.

In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.


2. We shall pray to be accounted worthy to escape all things to come and to stand before Jesus, this is the strongest verse that indicates that there is a rapture BEFORE the tribulation:

Can you imagine a life, that you literally since birth, all you do is pray and wait for the day the lord comes and raptures and takes you away, to meet him in the air. Yet he is the son of man. How can a man make you meet him in the air?! ...is he comming on an Helicopter?!...What a mission that will, be comming at any moment on a noisy vehicle such as an Heli, dawm...surely the Devil wont hear any of that noise and come to pull you right back down to hell.

Darby just promoted, what was a alternative doctrine dating clear back to the early church. Several Church Fathers had expressed thoughts on this concept of a Pre Trib Rapture throughout the Ages.

Now a Pre Trib Rapture is clearly incorrect. It is plainly Mid Trib.( Rev Ch 7)
Even Jesus in Mat 24 tells his disciples, what his followers will see and experience, Abomination of Desolation, etc., thus making it Mid Trib.

Hate to burst your bubble, but watching, waiting on the rapture/resurrection event is but a piece ofthe Christian life. rapture believers have children, jobs/careers, houses, cars busineses etc.....

Jesus is the only begotten son of GOD, and with GOD, anything is possible. He won't need a Heli, nor any other kind of vehicle for we shall meet him in the air. oh, and even if the devil sees/hears the "noise", it won't matter for he hasn't got the power to stop or thwart the rapture.

about the Rapture these last few years. So why not go through them and quote all the times when I said that the Rapture will happen on such and such a date. Is it because you know that you cant.
