Here in AZ on the unemployment weekly claim they have turned off the function of having to search for a job and report it. Its skipped over completely, they aren't even requiring you to seek work here.
I interviewed a lady who applied for one of the several job openings I have. When I made my offer and hourly rate she told me no thanks I make more on unemployment and hung up on the phone on me.....

Time for restaurant owners to boost pay across the board for the workers they have left, especially if they're good!

Many have had to stay at home and take care of children who aren’t in school. Not all schools are open to full capacity. Nor are daycares. And of course some can’t wear a mask all day. I don’t blame them for that. It is unhealthy. When the schools open up and masks are history then people can and will go back to work.

I've been to fast food chains several times recently that were closed at the busy time of day because they had no employees show up. Went through a Big Boy drive thru the other day. We had to park and wait for our food. It took forever and the girl (I think manager) finally brought it out and was apologizing profusely. She said she was the only one there...running drive thru and cooking. I felt bad for her. I was just taking to a friend today whose friend has a business and can't get employees.
