Re: Silver rounds
You are paying an $11 premium just for the privilege of buying it. If you sell, you will not get nearly that much.

In a crisis, the money changers will determine its street value, just as they did in Bosnia and Argentina.

Don't assume everyone will simply give you what you paid. Firstly, if you have rounds or bars, the potential buyer could balk because there is no proof that they are legit. He may offer you half their value or demand you have them tested for silver content.

Depending on what you think may happen...make sure you have enough essentials stored for the long haul, then maybe buy some silver, but stick to Eagles, because they are at least recognized as money.
The day the soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.

Re: Silver rounds
If theyre just rounds & not coins thats a little high. Eagles or Maples thats the price.

Rounds should be 32 to 34 at most.

Doesnt matter, theyll be 65 in a few months and over 100 in a few years.

It's only an $11.00 premium if you are comparing to the phony Comex price for paper. Just trying buying one ounce of silver for under $30.00 today. So the actual value of one ounce of physical silver is a minimum of $30.00.

Re: Silver rounds
Now is not the best time to invest in silver unless people have a stockpile of food, water, and other essentials.

During an SHTF situation, gold and silver will lose value until things become stabilized again. Here is a sobering first-person account of just this scenario when the fighting in Bosnia started virtually overnight.

[link to www.theprepperdome.com (secure)]

From the article: Having precious metal for SHTF is big in the prepping community but I need to point out some things.

The value of gold went down during SHTF so much that you need to think about it very hard.

For example, in normal times (I am using these numbers as an example) you could buy with one gold ring 300 small cans of meat. When SHTF you could buy 20, and you could buy 20 if you could find a man who wanted to take that ring from you.

He did not usually want to take it because he could take stuff that he could immediately use, like weapons, drugs, or medicines.

He simply could not do anything immediately useful with it.

Having precious metals is a great idea for later, when some kind of system jumps in, because they are gonna be again precious.

The day the soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them or concluded that you do not care.

I brought a dozen Anonymous Mint Odin rounds a couple days ago when that line dipped to 24.67$. Still paid 30.90.
Even a couple months ago the vigrish was less than that. They may be gouging but also responding to volatility?
idk but those Odins were gone in an hour it seems
