Re: Who owns a Desert Eagle?
I don’t. But I have a friend, older gentleman, when I was a college bartender, he was one of my bouncers. He was stabbed at the bar we worked at, 57 times, so once he recovered, he came back to work, but actually carrying 2 Double Eagles in his shoulder strap under his suit coat. He was never messed with again, till one night we were at a after hours diner. He was with his lady friend, I was with another friend, we weren’t sitting together, we were at separate tables. All of a sudden this rando guy puts a gun to a woman’s head and uses his other hand to hold up this after hours diner- my friend, the bouncer with his double eagles, saved an entire diner with his his 2 double eagles. They scare the crap out of bad people when they are pulled out. That’s all I know, I don’t like guns, but that’s just me personally, but I respect ones that are confident enough to handle and carry them.

For that kind of money, you'd be happier with the far superior HK Mk23:

Lol you're not getting a mk23 for deagle prices... Not even close, also the mk23 isn't anything close to great. It's just expensive and rare, not good.

Re: Who owns a Desert Eagle?
I don’t own one but I would like one in my collection. Someday.

However if you’re just looking for “holy shit” intimidation factor, look at a S&W X frame revolver. I personally prefer the .460 magnum over the .500 magnum because it offers the flexibility of shooting 4 different cartridges vs. the .500 which only shoots .500. They are physically the same size gun, and they are huge. I have the 5” model. Both the .460 and .500 magnum are significantly more powerful than the .50AE the 50 cal Desert Eagle shoots.

Very nice, I'm currently running a pf940 style g19 with truglo tritium fiber optic combo standard height night sights.

I am working on something similar to the b&t USW though which will likely run either a standard g17 slide with a brake or a 17 "long slide"
