I started employment when I was in the 6th grade, 12yrs old as a dish washer at a restaurant. I was payed $2.50 per/hr. I worked everyday from 4 to 10 after school and sometimes on the weekend. This is what you have to do sometimes when your parents divorce and are poor. Unfortunately, my family had a nomadic life style out of my control, no stability. I was never out of the poor loop even though after high school I did enlist in the military and succumbed to health problems later in life. I worked hard but not smart. I had great potential but did not have a business sense until later. Too little too late.

Parents stay together, encourage your children and plan, make contingencies and gainful educational opportunities. Create resources, don't create social failures like me. Plan, plan and plan. It is a benefit to the parent and society. That is all I have to say about that.
