We were 12000 miles away from each other.

My dad passed away last week, after a long illness. It's tough. The strongest man I ever knew. Prayers sent. With the Good Lord's help, you will get through it.

Father we come to you today to ask blessings of supernatural strength and comfort during this difficult time for Ohio Chic and her dad. Be with them every minute, every hour, of every day and provide for them love and support from all those surrounding them so that all their needs will be met throughout this transition. Lord bless this soul that's going to be rejoicing and made perfect in your presence soon as her new life begins. I ask these things be done in Jesus name, amen.

Sending my heart-felt sympathy and prayers to you. My mom died in a horrible accident over 40 years ago and I still cry about it and miss her, although I know that she is in a much better place. Just take one day at the time.

Gosh what a wonderful legacy, not many go having left such good will. Its really nice to know that they have been here.

It will be tough without her but remind her to let everything go, everything that holds her here. Keep reminding her that everything is in order and everything is looked after and she doesn't need to worry about anything. Remind her of the good times you have had, play music that she likes, soothe her with comforting scents, hold her hand and talk about all your wonderful memories together.

Remind her of the people she has been close to who will be waiting to help her, and how you will miss her but how much you look forward to seeing her when you are both strong and restored.

Remember her favourite song, film, book, character, flower, pet, smell.... just pick the one with strongest emotional memory and agree with your mother that she can always reach each other through that bridge.

Remind her of the great joy and adventure which awaits her and how you will be all joining her before she knows it.

Loss is horrible, I hope you find some ease somewhere and know that your celestial helpers are near at hand. Prayers to you.

I'm sorry for the pain you're going through.

I was fortunate to hold my momma's hands when she passed over. I leaned in and told her that she is a great mom and I would never forget her. I felt very good that I was there.

I hope that you have that moment. I know it sounds harsh, but I feel that it helped her on her journey, because death is that, it is a journey.

She will be fine, in peace will rest, in your thoughts will be remembered, smile, even if painful, her light will shine through in heaven for ever.
