It seems like everything is turned up a notch since the solstice. Anyone have more negative stuff around the solstice? The good seems stronger too.

A-heard like a "wind" sound while falling asleep that gets closer and louder before the episode begins?

-or-

B-when you try to fight it, you're trying to run away but you're not even in your body?

The latter happened to me about 10 yrs ago and I remember waking up to SP combined with the feeling of like a grinding lazer sound-lind of like what and MRI sounds like except I could feel it to the side of my temple; and when I "ran away" I looked back and saw myself sleeping on the couch.
As always, could never open my eyes all the way but there looked to be more than one SHORT, shadowy things in the room...its like I couldn't open my eyes but I had limited visibility.

I've had semi-regular SP (maybe 2 times within a weeks time every 2/3 months) for the last 15-20 yrs, but this time in particular I was sleeping at a friends house in the basement and immediately "jumped up to the feeling like some kind of lazer was being shot into the side of my head, but I could literally see the couch when I turned my head back trying to go up the stairs.

To this day I feel like it was some type of encounter-I just dont know what was done to me; i could definitely feel it and I was conscious of it happening trying to run away up the stairs but i had no body.

Lately they have been more of a levitation feeling where I feel as if i'm being pulled upwards when I'm trying to fight it/wake up with the eyes that won't open.

I have a couple others but for the sake of not writing a thesis, chose 2 that stick out to me vs the others...

Can anyone relate to this "laser" thing?

Yes you can reach this state through meditation.

I, too, have demonic 'encounters' during sleep paralysis. Although, I have not had 1 in about 2 years or so and I am all good with that. I am not a scientist, neurologist, nor am I religious but below is some of what I have learned from having some of the worst demonic dreams I can think of.

Yes, I have also had issues after awaking and trying to calm down. From what I understand, the chemicals in your brain are still very much out of whack which is why you are continuing to experience both visual and auditory hallucinations.

There is a period of time where your brain will overload you with these chemicals to prevent you from getting up and causing major physical damage to yourself. Most of the time when you magically wake yourself up, you still cannot move but you can open your eyes and continue to see the demon in your room. Other times when you force yourself awake, while the chemicals are still active but not as heavy as above, you can get up and experience the dream-like effects in real life.

Side note: I read many years ago (from a religious POV) that the best way to overcome the demonic encounter is to remember - while you are having one of these night terrors - to demand the demon say its name. When you finally wake up, write the name down and then research the name of it to learn about it. It might shed some light on why it is happening to you.

Is it the same demon that is visiting you or are they different?

I don't know if I believe that ^ above but, I could never remember to ask for its name in my dreams. The dreams are always the WORST!

It was also the time that it told me if I turned around to look at it I would die.

I read this once so I share it whenever possible. Your body is asleep and your mind is awake. Your body functions are running unconsciously like when you're asleep.
You're not in control of your breathing because it's on auto pilot. Take conscious control of your breath and it will wake the rest of your body up.

I get sleep paralysis too. Can be very unsettling.

One time I remember something that actualy gave me comfort, I was in the state with a dog growling on my stomach, but I came out of it and was aware quite quickly, my stomach was rumbling and I realised my mind had made that the dog.

All due to lack of MAGNESIUM..FACT

A - yes that is how it happened to me

my first sp happened after a revelatory dream in which in short i was judged by jesus. at some point i started to hear a high pitched sound and woke up in SP unable to move but conscious of body

next one a few years after, i bacem awake as i was feeling a magnetic pull upwards starteing from my feet. i was like half a feet above when i managed to open the phsyical eyes

the next 2 happened some more years after, after having my life changing experience of illumination and after around 1 year of non stop heart meditation and cutting all junk habits and being only veggie and plain water

first was triggered by heart center activation inside a dream at the sight of some succubs. i became suddenly conscious of the body being pulled magentically upwards. Again i couldn't see. What was different was that my heart center was active and as i was centered into heart there was a feeling of safety and control. But my mind kept wanting to see if i'm really going upwards so i kept trying to open my eyes, which led to moving focus from hear and unable to control my uplift. when i estimated i was about to go through the roof i decided to woke up.

Only a few days later i woke up in the middle of the night. While preparing to go back to sleep i suddenly started to hear very clear like a 3D surround a nature soundscape with a spring of water and some birds chirping and at the same time my hear tcenter was active. it was so loud and real that i got out of bed to go wash my face wondering what the heck was that.

but as i got out of bed i realized the obvious that i was not in the physical body, but in it's etheric counterpart. the body was the same but no muscels or any other phsycail sensation, just the magentic pulse in the heart centre from which i was able to control my movement. Walking in that realm felt like i was on 2 magnetic ice skates. This time i had full sight. I experimented in reality for a bit till at some point i woke back up in the physical body

quite possible, all the creeps wait for the first timers so to say...then use their lack of knowledge (not meant to be derogatory here) to scare them and have them be afraid to do so again, to be scared to fall asleep and so on...great loosh farm IMO, but not so great for us
