Re: My Latest Sleep Paralysis Experience
time to start recording yourself while you sleep. could solve mysteries. I have a cat being bullied at times, so we're going to set up recording so we can catch the bully in the act because even when you've seen it in action, it's always easy to convince yourself later that you didn't.

I've seen my cat visibly kicked by an invisible force twice now. My husband has seen the actual ghost, which despite the fact that the cat's been kicked doesn't seem to have animosity, and we've heard it, seen it and felt it multiple other times. Getting more active these days.

Its actually a state precursor to astral travelling. Your body sleeps but your mind is awake. If you can overcome the encroaching fear, then you can astral travel. If you give in to fear then you will see all kinds of weird shit which will either cause your body to wake up or put your mind back to sleeping state. I know it is really hard not to panic when it happens with all the buzzing sounds, being unable to move or speak, darkened vision and hallucinations depending on your state of anxiety.

Re: My Latest Sleep Paralysis Experience
I experience sleep paralysis about once every 1-2 months for the last 10-15 years. Usually it involves demons or dark shadowy figures. Anyways, last night was the most intense I've ever had, yet slightly different, so felt like this is the place to share.

Basically everything was fine in my dream, I was in a different and peaceful setting when suddenly my sisters pointed behind me and said watch out. At that point my eyes open up and I'm in my bedroom, completely paralyzed unable to move. I somehow roll out of the bed onto the floor. The bedroom door (which was closed and locked) opened and demon hands arms grabbed me and tried pulling me through the door into the hallway. I can't really remember what happened next, but eventually I woke up in bed and was finally able to move. The bedroom door I had closed and locked was open, and the glass of water I keep on the ground next to bed was spilled. Anyways, This is where things always end, but it didn't end here even though I was awake. I turned on the TV and lights on in the bedroom, went to the bathroom, checked my phone and sat up watching TV. I kept hearing pounding, crashes throughout the house, things morphing as if I was tripping on shrooms/acid and continuously getting poked from 1-4am.

Anyone ever experience crazy things happening hours after your sleep paralysis has ended?

Also, probably doesn't mean anything, but I heard 6 loud knocks on my backdoor yesterday during the evening when I was in the shower. The knocking sounded like that of a police officer so I jumped out of shower to see who the fuck was pounding on my door and no one was there. I have a nest cam and no one was at front door. I also had 2 black cats cross street yesterday.lol

Night terrors are very real. This is not uncommon and believe it or not neither are the demons. What’s really happening is your mind awakens during REM sleep and realizes it’s conscious but has not told the body it’s awake yet. This is primordial instinctive behavior like monkeys dreaming in a tree If you dreamed of jumping and jumped in real life you’d fall out of the tree. So nature programs all animals in such a way that your brain intentionally discards commands to move in real life during REM cycles. As a result some people find themselves conscious in the middle of this and it’s called lucid dreaming. If they wanted to they could fly or take control of the dream but instead they succumb to it and a wave of panic and fear sets in - because you can’t move... this inevitably brings the darker aspects into your dream which for most people is demons. In a deep unconscious state most people think of demons as it is related to pure unadulterated fear. The fear itself is the demon and the way you conquer it is to recognize it. The next time this happens try and condition yourself to simply be aware. Remember you are not paralyzed you are simply lucid dreaming and then you can not only overcome the fear but do something not many people can. You can take control of the dream and do what ever the hell you want. Ever seen the movie inception ? Kinda like that.

Re: My Latest Sleep Paralysis Experience
Whenever I have sleep paralysis, I will myself awake. The frozen stuck feeling is terrifying, powerless. But somehow I can kick in this instinctual fear, a reserve of energy, that allows me to awaken and break free. Not succumbing to fear is a key to me. I've had terror and malice strike me in dreams, but I've learned to not he afraid, and just accept the intensity. The fear is what keeps you locked in.

Ask around and find a skilled medium/psychic. The best way is to get recommendations from others or join a Spiritualist Church and see them in action.

I suspect you might need a house clearing as there may be entities around you targeting you. I have also had a sleep paralysis experience (which was terrifying) but once I awoke that was it.

The fact that you were being poked, there were strange noises and you had knocking on your door with no-one there point to a earthbound spirit trying to get your attention. You need to find the medium/psychic so they can find out what it wants and then send it to the light.
 Quoting: Cleolotus

This is the LAST thing you should do. Do not use Satan to cast out Satan. Find an Orthodox priest and have your place blessed. Attend said church if you do not already do so. ONLY Christ can keep you safe. Been there, done that.

Yes exactly. That was your unconscious mind exerting control over the dream and the reason you remember it all this time later proves you were lucid dreaming. Because the brain does not record dream memories. It discards this information as nonsense unless you were actually conscious durring the dream and that’s why you remember it. The trick is teaching your unconscious self to recognize this and then empower it to act on it. Your unconscious mind only knows very primordial instincts. Fear is by far the strongest. But it also knows love and warmth and good things and you can dictate how your dream is gonna go when you realize your in one and aware and awake enough and as a side bonus your brain will record the experience and file it away just like a memory. You can recall it the experience later.

Licid dreaming and astral projection are different. Astral projection will be more vivid and real. In the astral you should be able to feel, hear, smell and taste objects.

Re: My Latest Sleep Paralysis Experience
Its actually a state precursor to astral travelling. Your body sleeps but your mind is awake. If you can overcome the encroaching fear, then you can astral travel. If you give in to fear then you will see all kinds of weird shit which will either cause your body to wake up or put your mind back to sleeping state. I know it is really hard not to panic when it happens with all the buzzing sounds, being unable to move or speak, darkened vision and hallucinations depending on your state of anxiety.

Hit it right on the nail. Do you see everything in 360 view?

Nope, my field of vision was broader but not 360 degree. During OBE everthing was same as it was in reality , but with one difference things around me were glowing slightly and everything had a yellowish tinge. At first i thought i was awake but after i noticed the different colored haze of the environment i realized that i ended up in a parallel reality, got panicked a bit although there was nothing scary at all and bam another fail.

Re: My Latest Sleep Paralysis Experience
I used to have these experiences, but pleading the blood of Jesus and calling on the Holy Spirit made them stop.

A more frightening thing happened to me. I suspected several of the women at work were actual witches. There were a lot of signs of that. I was praying that they would be removed from my work. One night when I went to bed a force came over me trying to get me to kill my sleeping wife. It was extremely powerful. I knew if I moved a muscle I would be at its mercy. I lay there praying and pleading the blood of Jesus. Eventually it left me, and my body shook violently as it left.

The next day at work I saw one of the women in a wheel chair being pushed by someone else. I asked her ex-husband what happened to her and he told me a "mystery ailment" made her unable to walk.

That night I was drifting off to sleep when I was awakened by a loud scream some distance away. We lived in the county, but not woods, all cornfield. I jumped up out of bed and asked my wife if she heard it. She did. We stood by the open 2nd story window. It got closer and closer just howling with rage. It came up to the back corner of the house, then stopped. I never had any other experience.
