Usually it involves demons or dark shadowy figures. Anyways, last night was the most intense I've ever had, yet slightly different, so felt like this is the place to share. Quoting: < DL > Basically everything was fine in my dream, I was in a different and peaceful setting when suddenly my sisters pointed behind me and said watch out. At that point my eyes open up and I'm in my bedroom, completely paralyzed unable to move. I somehow roll out of the bed onto the floor. The bedroom door (which was closed and locked) opened and demon hands arms grabbed me and tried pulling me through the door into the hallway. I can't really remember what happened next, but eventually I woke up in bed and was finally able to move. The bedroom door I had closed and locked was open, and the glass of water I keep on the ground next to bed was spilled. Anyways, This is where things always end, but it didn't end here even though I was awake. I turned on the TV and lights on in the bedroom, went to the bathroom, checked my phone and sat up watching TV. I kept hearing pounding, crashes throughout the house, things morphing as if I was tripping on shrooms/acid and continuously getting poked from 1-4am. Anyone ever experience crazy things happening hours after your sleep paralysis has ended? Also, probably doesn't mean anything, but I heard 6 loud knocks on my backdoor yesterday during the evening when I was in the shower. The knocking sounded like that of a police officer so I jumped out of shower to see who the fuck was pounding on my door and no one was there. I have a nest cam and no one was at front door. I also had 2 black cats cross street yesterday. Thoughts? Ask around and find a skilled medium/psychic. The best way is to get recommendations from others or join a Spiritualist Church and see them in action. I suspect you might need a house clearing as there may be entities around you targeting you. I have also had a sleep paralysis experience (which was terrifying) but once I awoke that was it. The fact that you were being poked, there were strange noises and you had knocking on your door with no-one there point to a earthbound spirit trying to get your attention. You need to find the medium/psychic so they can find out what it wants and then send it to the light. |

IMO it's actual demonic activity. The fact that so many people all over the world experience sleep paralysis and see shadow people is proof that the "supernatural" is real. |

It's animated, get through it and it will help, I promise. I have similar night terrors. And sit up in bed screaming with my eyes wide open having a dream of the exact room and events, scares the shit out of my family. Also experienced this with ambien which should not be prescribed to people with paralysis or terrors. Anyway, your subconscious isn't getting to the sleep frequency you need. From distractions, and other conditions. Watch that movie. |

Haven't had an episode for years now. Absolutely freaky shit. For me, I usually heard 2 people talking outside my door...I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I knew they were talking about me. Another time I felt somebody sit on the bed right next to me. Nobody else was in the house. Do not miss that pounding/rushing inside my head while not being able to move and feeling like there's people watching me. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77759558 United States 01/09/2020 03:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I experienced SP frequently from age 14. I didn’t know what it was and just assumed I was cursed or something. Over the years, the experiences became more and more painful and did involve loud buzzing. Then I discovered I had a condition in which my body cannot regulate sodium properly. (Read symptoms of dangerously low sodium in the body and compare to your symptoms). I was having seizures in my sleep and even dislocated my jaw. Now that I’ve been conscientious about getting enough sodium, I’ve only had one episode, thank God. When you have SP and manage to bring yourself out of it do you immediately fall back into another SP episode because you’re too weak and groggy to resist sleep? Telltale sign of sodium dysfunction. Take a salt tab before bed and see if you have less SP experiences. Unless you have kidney disease, it’s a myth that a low sodium diet is healthy. It’s very important to get enough sodium in your diet and a responsible amount of water to dilute it properly. Low sodium + 8, 8 oz glasses of H2O is not a safe lifestyle esp if you’re very active. BTW, I had to figure this out on my own. If you tell an MD you have SP they either look at you like you’re crazy or try to give you Ambien, which would make your life more miserable. |

A few years ago, I learned about the power and purpose of angels. Since then, every night I specifically assign angels to stand guard over me as I sleep... to defend me against all powers of darkness and forces of evil. I haven't had a sleep paralysis episode since. :) |

User ID: 77825331 United States 01/09/2020 03:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I used to have it every several months. I never had it that bad, though. My nephew and I were talking about it during the summer and he said he knew how to stop it from happening... When I inquired, he said: "Don't sleep on your back." I thought about every time I had it happen and, sure enough, I was sleeping on my back at the time. I haven't had it happen since I stopped sleeping on my back. I also, rejected some new-age-ish thinking I had, and moved closer to God and Christ at the same time. Which I think has a lot to do with it, as well. When I was very young, like 4 or 5, a demon manifested outside a window and appeared as a white evil skull with 12" horns protruding from it. Probably the scariest thing I've ever experienced. I was fully awake when that happened. ```````````````` ````__/\__`````` ~~~\____/~~~~ .~~..~~~....~~~ ~..~~~....~~~~ Thoughts do not come from you nor God; you do not create thoughts; you are not your thoughts; every thought is a lie. - 2 Corinthians 10:5 - [link to www.biblegateway.com (secure)] |

Quoting: Lady Jayne Smith I think you may have entered the astral, but did not know how to recognize what was happening, or how to banish the nasties. Yes, there are many nasties out there. This is true. I have never done drugs. I've been raised in church and am a born-again believer. Yet i have been attacked by entities during what is described as sleep-paralysis. I believe it to be something inter-dimensional, which is what i believe "aliens" are, fallen angels and/or demons. I have had experiences, one in which i "saw" the entity, with my mind's eye of course but it felt the same. Looked just like what is described as an alien grey. Many will say, too much TV. But this was so real it's indescribable. I feel they tried to do things to me. The name of Jesus made them flee. It took many attempts to even say His name but once i did, it was over. Will never forget. This was 10 years ago now...I've had very few SP experiences since, and non were what i would describe as out of this body or astral experiences. |

Forum Administrator 01/09/2020 03:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This happened to me for several years, several times per night... paralysis, sense of doom, something physically on me and trying to pull me out of my body. Always at 3 AM. Near the end, it got so bad that when I’d fight my way out of it and go into the living room freaked the hell out to try to calm down, it would attack me there... wide awake. Finally one night during a particularly vicious attack, I heard an internal voice tell me to command it to “begone”... and to do it in Jesus’s Name. So that’s exactly what I did... I think the words I actually used were “IN THE NAME OF JESUS GET OFF ME!” and immediately, it was like something being physically yanked off of me... and it was over. There were a couple of halfassed attempts after that for the next couple of nights, but each time, I’d do the same thing, and it’d stop immediately. After that, it’s never happened again.. and that was 20 years ago. Last Edited by ScrumpTheTexan on 01/09/2020 03:43 PM I am a Christian. It is always someone/something sitting on you your chest and it makes it feel like you may be suffocating. Very very scary. DL, if you have been smoking a lot of SATIVA, you may want to slack off a tad. Or switch to a PURE INDICA with ZERO SATIVA. Something is also happening that during normal hours your brain is being fired up by something/someone. You could even be under a lot of stress from anything. Go get some herbal goodnight tea so you can shut her down a tad 1 hour before bed. Have you thought about setting up a cam and recording this? All the best DL. I hope this pass's for you and soon. |
