But your ass is going to jail. Think of hundreds of other scenarios where a crime is committed without intending to commit the crime, yet it's still punished because ignorance of the law is not a defense. So these people in power commit crimes, they break the law, but because it can't be proven that they intended to commit a crime they aren't accountable. Right. Makes sense. Term Limits for EVERY elected and appointed office. An end to career politicians for real change. |
