Huma Abedin ‘Burst Into Tears’ Over Weiner-Triggered Probe Into Clinton’s Emails

Huma Abedin, a close aide to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, allegedly broke down in tears after hearing reports that her husband, former Democratic New York Rep. Anthony Weiner, triggered a revival of an FBI probe into Clinton’s private email server.

In a leaked copy of Clinton’s upcoming book “What Happened,” Abedin, while crying, bemoaned how her husband “is going to be the death of me,” according to The Hill.

“Anthony had already caused so much heartache,” Clinton wrote, “And now this.

Weiner, who left office in disgrace, pled guilty to a felony charge for sending a series of sexually explicit messages and photos to a 15-year-old girl. As part of an investigation into Weiner and his misconduct, the FBI seized equipment owned by Abedin and Weiner and discovered communications “pertinent” to the Clinton probe.

The political couple technically separated in 2016, but Abedin officially filed for divorce in May.
