WHat happened to the women in Western EUrope who slept with Nazi soldiers as their countries were liberated? Their hair was shaved and they were sent scurrying. If I were Afghani, I would do the same looking at it from their perspective. "You lay with the enemy", you betrayed your people, you worked with them. You at least deserve to be outcast and have your head shorn. What would you do if there was an occupation in your country and your neighbour was an informant and getting chocolate and fine wine getting laid by the enemy? I'd chuck them to the wolves at the end of the day. But maybe I'm heartless. Meh, call me heartless then. Yeah, this American Taliban moniker is extremely artificially blowing up and "catching on" too fast for it to be organic. I know a lot of people think that fighting what's going on here at home will only make things worse and all... But to anyone watching this all go down right now it should be obvious where this is going. At some point you will either fight them or you will let yourself be killed. The people in power are working very hard to make sure that these are your only two choices. The people who think fighting will only make things worse are forgetting that the enemy very much gets a vote in what possible actions you can take in the face of their actions.
