Sugar coating - i like the maple flavour - so that is a negative, but the rest is whole wheat, not enrinched. One serving gives you 50 percent of your iron, and 20 percent of your daily fibre. So sugar bad, brown sugar not great, but other than that I don't see a problem and one bowl carries me easily to lunch and past. |

Your body begins processing what ever food lands in your stomach, thus, WORKING, thus, increased heart rate. Food gives your body energy. It has nothing to do with cereal. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 144615Strange thing tofu has the same effect. Most other food does nothing to heart rate. |

From the expert: \"If you have a bp cuff handy, take your blood pressure before and after your meal. It is not uncommon for people to see a drop in blood pressure following a meal, with a corresponding slight increase in heart rate\" |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 115 United States 09/17/2006 02:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The raisins are probably raising your blood sugar. They don't call them raisins for nothing ;-) I found a Web page that names some fictional cereals and I thought the ones featured on the "Simpson's" sounded delicious. Frosted Krusty-O's Chocolate Frosted Frosty Krusty Flakes Penicill-O's Krusty is the clown from the Simpsons. He has his own children's show and endorses a lot of bad products including three cereals: Krusty Brand Cereal with FREE Flesh Eating Bacteria inside every box; Krusty Brand Cereal ("Krusty-Os") which come with a FREE jagged metal Krusty-O in every box; and Chocolate Frosted Frosty Krusty Flakes "only sugar has more sugar". |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 115 United States 09/17/2006 03:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | seriously, I think that the processing has something to do with it. Once I made apple juice from fresh apples off a local tree and was amazed that it made me feel totally different then the 100% frozen apple juice. So I figure that the frozen stuff is different because it is boiled down to remove the water which is like cooking the stuff. |
