Android vs. YouTube
Is there an app which allows for background YouTube, while browsing other sites?

I Googled it and seems rather blocked. Moving from PC to tablet with no background YouTube, is a bit of a deal breaker.

I accepted it on my phone but on my primary...must be a way.

Pandora's is great but doesn't serve immediate desire, like YouTube.

depending on tablet, within settings you should be able to allow playback while viewing other tab.

Try swiping up to get to the control center and on left side and you should see the name of the video your watching if so press the play button, if not then the site your trying to view is trying to play its own audio and is overriding your video (it's probably a muted add)

I just got it today. Birthday present. It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4.

Audio settings? I Googled it and the popular apps were no longer applicable?

Is that a paid service? I pay for Pandora. I would be willing to pay for background YouTube, although doesn't seem much fair being free on PC.

There is an app that will pop out the video and float it on the screen. So that way you can surf at the same time.

On a related note, does anyone else get a little weirded out by the allowances to our extremely personal information, apps require?

My images, location, etc.. What is all that about? I want to install Flashlight, I offer up the personal contents of my device.

Truly.

I never felt it entirely private, but my images? What is that about?

I wonder if it is necessary to make the app work, or if they, idk, want access to my pictures?

Who cares?

People offer up their images without thought. Why a random app would need access to our personal images...causes me to wonder and hesitate to add haphazardly. Or at all.

GLP new agreement catches me uncomfortable on occasion when seen again, although a paying memeber. I read it once and agreed. Did it change while I wasn't looking and agreed again out of impatience?

I have added no images of myself online for years. But of others, I have those there in my personal gallery. Is THAT what they want access to, or is it a part the software that allows their app to display properly?

This is what I wonder when I click 'agree'.

There was a controversy last year about a Jay-Z album that was available on iTunes.. but in the contract you had to give them access to your contacts, photos, and calender..

A lot of people were alarmed, but america is so dumb and jaded no one really cares, much less pay attention

I find the asking for location and photos too much to ask. I get it, about the logistics of it all, but still.

My photos are private and where I sit, is no one's business beyond those I choose to share it with. Why a Flashlight app wants either of those things from me, makes little sense.

Why would they care though? There are so many of us, while so few of them. Seems insurmountable odds, against caring at all.

Beyond keyword triggers, I imagine it is mostly boring.
