Why would they care though? There are so many of us, while so few of them. Seems insurmountable odds, against caring at all.

Beyond keyword triggers, I imagine it is mostly boring.

Do you think a Super Computer could ever grow bored, or is that a human problem alone?

Could it reach the end of what Mankind could give IT? How would it react? To reach the ends of human potential?

The technological singularity is the hypothetical advent of artificial general intelligence (also known as "strong AI"). Such a computer, computer network, or robot would theoretically be capable of recursive self-improvement (redesigning itself), or of designing and building computers or robots better than itself. Repetitions of this cycle would likely result in a runaway effect — an intelligence explosion[1][2] — where smart machines design successive generations of increasingly powerful minds, creating intelligence far exceeding human intellectual capacity and control. Because the capabilities of such a superintelligence may be impossible for a human to comprehend, the technological singularity is an occurrence beyond which events may become unpredictable, unfavorable, or even unfathomable.[3]

You can root and install Xposed. Theres a module that will allow for background youtube.

I am willing to pay $10/MO of that is what it takes. Would like to know what works. Like I was on my laptop, and not a tablet.

Man finds a work around for that seen as unfair. Eventually.

There was a controversy last year about a Jay-Z album that was available on iTunes.. but in the contract you had to give them access to your contacts, photos, and calender..

A lot of people were alarmed, but america is so dumb and jaded no one really cares, much less pay attention

I find the asking for location and photos too much to ask. I get it, about the logistics of it all, but still.

My photos are private and where I sit, is no one's business beyond those I choose to share it with. Why a Flashlight app wants either of those things from me, makes little sense.

Viral Popup does not work. YouTube shuts down on exit.

Why allow background play for PC, but not devices like Android? Seems so authoritarian. YOU WILL WATCH THIS AND ONLY THIS!.

Makes no sense. Appeal to your audience, or lose it.

You could also use TubeMate for download & MP3-conversion and VLC for background playback.

For free.

BTW: one NEVER should use android devices without XPrivacy & such ...

I'm not sure if you're comfortable with rooting your phone. There is risk involved.

Google Play Music All Access costs $9.99 a month and with this you obviously get unlimited music streaming but also access to Youtube Key. That gives you ad free youtube and playing in the background.

Mine work like a charm ... xposed mod: BootManager and 3C Toolbox might help ...

You also might want to flush the caches from time to time.

Re: Android vs. YouTube
Just wanted to thank everyone who took the time to help me out last night. I decided to start the 30 day free trail for Google Play Music which does come with the YouTube Music Key.

Currently playing YouTube in the background, so works perfectly. Ad-free is always a bonus and 30 days is enough time to decide if $10/mo, is worth it.

Thanks again.

:)
