the metric system... conspiracy

So there is no Conspiracy as to why we don't use the metric system.

People are just stupid and lazy and dont care enough to change over to something is obviously superior.

I just bring this up because every day I learn how bureaucracies are suppressing knowledge and information.

What always blows my mind is that if the average person put forth a little effort, gave a damn at all, this couldnt happen.

Look at how the medical industry lies about cholesterol and heart health. How they lie about heartburn. How they lie about high blood pressure.

It feels like this evil, giant conspiracy.

But really, maybe its just a lot of individual, greedy people forming this mess at the top, relying on masses of really really stupid people.

I mean... what hope is there of getting people to understand the complexities of nutrition and the human cardiovascular system and changing... when we cant even get people use the @#$%ing METRIC system!
