Yet, Liberals will continue the hate on Reagan while their own Messiah has presided over a "lost generation" and pushing median incomes DOWN. All the "Hope and Change" is pretty damn useless when your own policies has contracted employment to such a degree that nobody can climb the economic ladder and the bottom rungs have been snapped off. We are all suffering under this Tyranny of Academicians while Obama and the Left and their minions continues to politically masturbate. Last Edited by TexasPaleo on 05/07/2014 09:43 PM |

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office just released its analysis of the budget proposal that President Obama presented last month. The result: it would yield the highest level of sustained taxation in the history of the country. Over the next 10 years, taxes would grow from 17.6% of gross domestic product to 18.7%. As current GDP is just under $17 trillion, that means annual taxes would be $3.1 trillion, or $9,804 for every American." Anonymous Coward User ID: 52197375 United States 05/07/2014 10:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is no money velocity. Period. If you are a hedge fund you get money, if you are John Q Public you get shit. Reagan's time money was made available to everyone, to remodel, purchase homes, buy cars, start businesses etc. You can print all you want and have interest rates close to zero, but if people can't access the money there will be no "recovery". Sorry. |

If it was today I could purchase it with little down and get a loan just about anywhere. At the same time all the farmers in the Midwest were struggling and going bust because they could not get the operating capital they needed from the banks. I lived it, and I remember. Mortgage companies are laying of 10's of thousands of people. If money was being given away they would be hiring not firing. Think about it. |
