I have a big question about the .gov fed shutdown
So if the DC WW2 Memorial and other outdoor/s public places in DC and around our nation are closed to our "VETS" and "WE THE PEOPLE" because they sit on Federal Land, and Law Enforcement Officers in DC and around the nation wanting to arrest our VETS and WE THE PEOPLE.......

With the help from the members of GLP I have a big question that needs to be answered!
The reason why I ask is because I just find it odd that I/We haven't heard any Law Enforcement Officers bitching and complaining in the media about what I'M about to ask.

So My question to the members of GLP is the following...........
Is the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in DC Open?

Better not be OPEN, after all the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial also is a outdoors public place that also sits on Federal Land!

My gut says it's OPEN, because I/We know that Law Enforcement Officers would be screaming, bitching or protesting to the media via a News Conference. And the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial as you know is for ALL State and Federal Law Enforcement Officers who died

If it is OPEN I would be so damn f-ing pissed mostly because of the bullsh*t at the WW2 Memorial, but also the other outdoors public places also sitting on Federal Land.

Not only that, but it would just show us how much the National Law Enforcement Officers and our Fed Gov really hate We The People and all of our vets. After all they think they are more special then all our Vets. Besides how come Congress gave the DC police a standing ovation after killing a unarmed mother in a car with a baby? I don't ever recall them doing that for our Brave vets or those currently serving in the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force who fight armies of other nations. And yet Congress gives the DC Police a standing ovation for pointing 20 guns at a unarmed mother and shooting the women about 15 times in her car with a baby! Wow...How Brave!

Per Wiki.

"While the memorial sits on federal land, the monument was constructed and is maintained with private funds, not taxpayer dollars. Public Law 104-329 (October 20, 1996) created a Memorial Maintenance Fund, managed by the United States Secretary of the Interior and funded in part by the sale of 500,000 National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Commemorative Silver Dollars issued by the U.S. Mint. The Memorial is adjacent to the National Law Enforcement Museum. The Memorial and Museum are both projects of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF), a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization based in Washington, D.C."
