Quoting: Southern Lighthouse 5 stars for you, OP! Thanks for the info! I would say meditation is the best cure for emotional roller coasters. Being able to breathe and watch your thoughts come up before acting on them, is a true gift. Meditation helps with pausing before reacting. Meditation helps with staying present to what is actually happening, rather than getting caught in a loop of the past or the future. Non violent communication is also a helpful tool in terms of relating and talking to loved one. Rather than saying: you suck!, you could try: I feel x when you do y. I need z to feel safe/loved/grounded. Or just wait until next week, as the moon wanes, the intensity abates. :) |
