Why did everyone worry about December 21st when the calendar actually "ends" March 31st???

I feel it will be a raise of energy between palm sunday and
easter monday / happy fool's day (those two happen the same day)

We should probably expect some tricks from TPTB on those days
But those that would flow with the Spring Breeze could receive some kind of strength and assurance

the transit between 21 dec'12 and 31 march'13 is of 100 days

Yeah, if the long count is 20 baktuns long instead of 13, which is unknown. Either way the Mayans believed something would occur at this point in time as they left the inscription "At the end of the 13th baktun darkness will be the descent of Bolon Yokte". It is thought the actual end of the 13th Baktun is 31st of this month (the last day of the last tzolkin calendar to begin before the end of the long count)

I wonder if a GLP will ever predict the end times DOOM. It's bound to happen eventually. But hopefully we have internet when it happens so the person can say, "HA I PREDICTED IT!"

It's unlikely there will be internet at the end of the world lol. I am not actually predicting doom, just wondering what the end of the Mayan Calendar actually means for us...

I personally believe numbers don't mean anything - they are just numbers. However I do think something big will occur this month if the correlation of the mayan calender ending on 31/3/2013 is correct.

I didn't get there through numerology. I am spiritual and open minded, just don't believe numbers have importance as such. The 31st March is "13 ahau" - "the return of the ancestors and menof wisdom" according to the Mayans. It is also the actual "end" of the great cycle.

They didn't know what our calendar would look like, the "ending" of their calendar is based on a correlation between their calendar and ours.
