The woman on the news (I live in eastern San Diego - just moved from where this happened) said that there was a nasty residue on her car windows after she fled the library where the fumes had filled up the place. She wiped it and it was black and sooty looking. Very strange. She said "These things keep happening and no one gives us an explanation". Wow. I hope we are not about to get the big shake up.

And please remember they are constantly pumping, drilling oil off the coast there. Its not uncommon for there them to hit methane pockets. Not that its a good thing they are pumping but that isn't an unlikely issue thereof.
