Quoting: Zero Point It's even been raining. Last night I couldn't find one bloody toad. Weird? Where I live in the midwest toads are almost a thing of the past. Been this way for years now. A few years ago they were everywhere. Birds are going the same way around here. It really is getting weird now. It's been quite wet which normally brings them out in the hundreds. Last two nights, nothing. Have you seen that chemtrailing thread? Thread: I spent 17 years developing various chemicals for Chemtrails - ask me almost anything. (Page 47) Yeah. first interesting "insider" thread ever. I'm staying out of the rain now. Another public service announcement from the Southern Hemisphere Information Leveraging Locus. |

We are seeing some signs that a die off of humans may be next. I know some will say, oh we have lots of those, but the fact is they are in pockets, where as they used to be everywhere. Something is wrong. This last summer there were hardly any bugs either. I drove thousands of miles and maybe cleaned my windshield twice. Normally, that would have to be done often, very often. So, what is happening, I don't know, I just know it is happening. I am not a young guy, this is UN-presidented. :TOMABANEFOX: It's more humane this way ya know, or burn on totem pole. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1880562 Australia 01/16/2012 01:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | your progeny are WAAY too successful here TM - noxious pests - out of control [like possums in NZ] - no known predators [except for that enterprising tarantula Baldrick mentioned and some crows have learned to flip and degut them - pity not many toads are out during the day] They were originally imported for getting rid of pests in sugar cane - they failed miserably in that venture and rampaged on the highlife knocking off the native amphipians on the way. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 8927091 Australia 01/16/2012 02:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I HAD a theory that suggested the toads were slowly working their way around Straya, from the east cost to the northern tip and across to W.A, and during their journey their numbers are slowly dwindling due to the crows figuring out how to eat them and now it seems that tarantulas have enjoyed a toady snack or two But to that equation, I have to point out the lack of christmas beetles and the lack of colour on the rare ones we do get. This season we have had about three beetles a night, we know this cos we made a joke of it as the dawg played with them " beetlejuice, beetlejuice, beetlejuice". We have had ONE that has had all the colours. Normally ones house is inundated and the brown ones eventually turn to coloured ones or maybe they are male, female, I am not a beetle expert |

Normally at this time of year I shouldn't be able to back down my drive way without killing at least 3 toads out of the 2 dozen standing around. Tonight I saw 3 all up. Someone else here has mentioned christmas beetles. Normally a plague here gathering in drifts at doorways, barely saw 10 I reckon. Slightly colder summer than normal but still, it's not normal.
